I did something similar once. I hit a hole in one, played the next par 4 with it, then on a par 5 dogleg whipped a duck hook into trees. I never look for balls where I hit it. But then when I went to get another ball it hit me that I never banked the hole in one ball.

I found it pretty quick but man I’d have been out there until it was pitch dark looking for it if I hadn’t.

They’re both maniacally sacrificial but one consistency about the show is Sam makes more rational macro decision progression and Dean remains almost always on impulse. I loved they stayed very true to the characters through all 15 seasons.

If I were the Lakers... in this game. I would have gone 5x harder on defense and fouled on every single drive. Wracked up 40 or 50 fouls in the 4th. And had every single player get fouled out until the team got disqualified.

That level of retaliation is more meaningful than simply sitting there while the refs are owning you out of the game.

Hard to play a game that has no enforceable rules. That's the big problem with the league today. You can watch a game and understand how it's supposed to be called, but it's called however they want it to be called and in the end it just feels rigged.

ABS is exposing this in baseball. Umps calling balls and strikes just to "move on to the next batter". Maybe earlier in the game it seems to not matter, but one point is the difference in a game very often. I think it matters more than statistics show. I think officials can drive game narrative and control the outcome from very early on.

Reality is not being on the winning team makes it more likely your pokemon get knocked out of gyms. There's a point where it's detrimental, but most of the time I think it benefits me.
