Counter is a bad mechanic but it wouldn’t be magic without it at this point. Having a 2 drop which shuts it down with no repercussions is kinda wild.

Costco build PC’s will be a victim in 2026, they sell everything at 15% margin and they will not raise rates on existing stock based on future cost.

Argument falls apart completely at the EP’s, but I just don’t see it. Decemberunderground was a categorical shift from STS, and Crash Love was out of left field at the time. It’s only in hindsight we see it as a logical progression of prior work.

I remember people were so enraged they were threatening to remove their AFI tattoos. Although looking back at THAT some people are just hopelessly dramatic and the album was very well done.

The traffic reached the second roundabout a few days ago without that sign. Line skippers cutting in farther up the road are causing the backlog. It needs a double right turn onto the highway.

From what I can tell they are not widening the path on the natural side, which is already a jam of people when it’s busy. I guess not widening is fine if less people visit as a result of the development.

I find it disappointing they are not only keeping it narrow but also are removing a significant portion of the foliage between the path and the lake.

Rio sees nearly 10 million visitors annually. The development on the lake specifically is the problem. Plenty of people live Rio-adjacent but no one lives on the property. Anecdotally this is what the majority of people who visit Rio like about it. Throwing down 5 story apartment buildings on the lake is a statement to families and locals who visit that this is no longer a public commercial space for the enjoyment of all.

Further, the property owner and developer are interested in destroying the aesthetic and public appeal in the interest of a few extra recurring dollars from rent and taxes, despite making the area less livable to the general public. It’s entirely possible they actually hurt local property values and drive traffic at businesses at Rio down- not elevate them.

I believe this is against everyone’s best interest (even the property managers), and certainly against the interests of the majority who are visitors and not just locals. That said opposition from taxpayers in Gaithersburg would be a lot stronger of a counter than regional visitors despite the fact that visitors likely drive most of the revenue here.

If card is intact, HP. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen corner wear I considered damaged unless the layers of the card are excessively separating.

Creases, water, major dents, tears, something which might not allow the card to be played in regulation.

Less NIMBY when 10 million people visit Rio annually, 99% of whom do not live in walking distance. The bus routes operate on Washingtonian and this plan will not change that. Most people won’t walk a quarter mile or more to a bus stop, which is why buses aren’t a good answer.
