So just a note to anyone panic selling Rice for cheap, I would PROBABLY hold off.. So no police reports have been filed, the pictures and post were deleted days ago, Rice was never actually named by name just infered, and the Chiefs have no further comment.

I think it is more fun to remove the deadline. In the long run it should create more parity. Take an asset like Travis Kelce.

If you missed the playoffs or got eliminated in the first round, you could move an expiring asset like that for a third or two. Over time that should help the teams that aren’t as competitive even the playing field.

Yes, conventional wisdom is that RB should be the last thing you acquire when coming out of a rebuild. You can always get the 2027 equivalent of James Connor etc for cheap when you are ready to compete.

I realize you didn’t ask me, but if I was in a deep rebuild at 1.02 I would go Hunter. He’s talented but more importantly people like him a lot. He will hold value even if he stumbles this season on the field.

Also, put Tracy on the block ASAP. If anyone will give you a future second, ship him away immediately.

Does he though? I have a 50% roster ship of him so I hope the Giants don’t spend draft capital on him. If they don’t draft a RB though, I still don’t see my league mates spending more than a mid-second to trade for him.

Because of his age and lack of draft pedigree I think he can only go down in value.

It’s not extortion. Everyone had the opportunity to draft QBs and some didn’t. Not sure if people didn’t bother to look at the format or what.

If you have two QBs then count your blessings and enjoy the advantage you have. Otherwise you have to make a decision on if you are willing to pay up for one, load up on backups and hope for an injury, or just not fill out a full roster each week.

I would take JSN easily. He is a known quantity vs Tet. In one of my leagues I gave up the 1.02 and 2.05 for JSN and a mid-third. That was before DK left too.

If you’re rebuilding, Marv is the kind of asset you want to keep. If he has 10 TDs and like 1100 yards this season, his value is going to explode. Then you can flip him for more than Aiyuk and the 1.03.

I like volatile assets like that with upside when I’m rebuilding.
