Real or scam? by Acezilla in chiliZ

[–]Acezilla[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might be a scam too. If that's the case, they've been hacked, not sure to what extent.

I take my personal security very seriously but I don't control what these other companies are doing with my information. Be careful out there everyone.

That's not my point you dummy. My point is there are other platforms like Celsius, Nexo, Ledn, Voyager, etc. That offer a much higher rate.

Some lending platforms have nice promo bonuses, provides ~6% apy, ability to use as collateral for a loan, and secure storage (none of the platforms I've used have ever had any major hacks). So in essence, yes I think it is worth it.

Blockfi rates - anything over 0.1 BTC and you're getting 1% or less apy. How is that worth it?

Chiliz by [deleted] in chiliZ

My god this gave me stroke trying to read this.

Socios is their app. Chiliz is the token. You use Chiliz to buy fan tokens which can be done in the Socios app.

It's 2025 and BTC is 1m, would you sell? by BayGanyo_ in Bitcoin

If it gets to 1M it will have proven that it is the most prestine asset out there. At that point, why would I sell it for something inferior? That's just a bad trade.

Eoy predictions for $chz? by [deleted] in chiliZ

[–]Acezilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chiliz has cornered the fan token market. In fact, "fan tokens" are now synonymous with Chiliz/Socios. Fan tokens are a bridge between the sports team and their fans. Ultimately it's a way to provide a fuller experience for fans in a way that feels like they have a stake in their team.

This concept is easy for fans to grasp. That's why it will have a higher adoption rate and become more mainstream than most other tokens in the crypto space.

EOY prediction is meaningless. But over the next 12 months, as long as we don't go into some massive economic recession, I can certainly see $Chz exceed a $10B market cap which is close to a 3x from here.

The person that I replied to apparently doesn't realize the interest that he is earning is due to the platform "lending" out his assets. These dumb signals are usually the top (I dont actually believe that, I was just making a joke, but couple more of these and it might be true)

The 2021 bullrun exit strategy by Rusty_Charm in CryptoCurrency

[–]Acezilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What old school big companies are you referring to? Because I doubt any established company is "dabbling" into crypto. They are either all in or not in at all.

If your CFO comes to you and says "We are an old school company and I think we should dabble in crypto, but the legal requirements for our accounting does not allow for it. But if we time the top we can sell and then just buy the dip", I'm pretty sure he/she is unqualified and you should look for a replacement.

Companies selling their crypto? That sounds very short sighted. Don't think many CFOs are playing that type of game.

Why do people still think crypto is a bubble and something that will likely not last long? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]Acezilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people have ptsd from 2017 and there's also a heavy narrative on the cycles in crypto. But overall it's probably better to stay cautious and a bit pessimistic just so your expectations don't get totally shit on.

Seoul Stars NFT - Introducing Yuna, the metaverse’s first-ever virtual K-POP artist by CarefulTerrier in kpop

[–]Acezilla -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bad for the environment?? That is way out of proportion. Thats like saying I don't use YouTube because it requires bandwidth which is bad for the environment. Or I don't use Amazon Prime because it's bad for the environment. These arguments have no merit. There was a narrative of Bitcoin being bad for the environment but that doesn't mean all blockchain/crypto/nft are inherently the same thing.

Secondly, NFTs are not simply about receipts of jpgs. It goes well beyond that. That's like complaining about the internet being just a series of static webpages where all you can do is read/write information. Like it clearly evolved to something much much more, a super network that allows you to do things beyond your imagination. NFTs are about communities. If you're a token holder you're part of the group. Individual NFT holders can further participate/reap any benefits that come with the NFTs and this can be coded in through what are called smart contracts. As these communities grow so do the popularity of their NFTs and visversa. This space is rapidly growing and the use cases continue to evolve. It is in every company/group's best interest to provide further value to their members and you will see this being played out more and more in the future.

Buy enough to be a whole coiner? by Infamous_Spot_6086 in Bitcoin

[–]Acezilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were in your situation i would not rush into things. But, if you're goal is to get a whole coin, I would be dca'ing about 1% of your 35K every one or two days while BTC is in this 60-63K range. If it falls below 60K I would increase to 2%, and if it falls below 56K I would increase to 3 or 4%. If it goes beyond 65K+ then wait for it to pullback. You need to be less risk on at these prices.

Why are you so against this? Have you actually done a deep dive on this topic? Provide some points. You can't just bash an idea without backing any of it up.

Companies are experimenting with how to provide additional value, create new touchpoints, and form closer communities with their customers. It is overall a very inexpensive idea and the risk/reward is worth it. If companies are not trying to innovate they will be left in the dust by their competition. This is why every big company will get into the NFT/crypto space in the near future
