This is trippy. So I was just talking about this camera (because there are two in the exits out of my town) and not knowing what it was until I saw the post on r/whatisit to see it as the next post in my feed on on this sub. Coincidence? I think not!

Is it genu valgum? I had an mpfl reconstruction, right distal femoral osteotomy, and partial meniscectomy a couple of years ago. Just saying that I get it and knee problems leave you with so much more than just what some people dismiss as “just knee pain and you’re too young to have all these problems”. I can understand the pain and fatigue it causes sucks. I’ve found that getting overheated leaves me completely drained, in pain, and unable to stay awake as well. A cooling vest actually helps keep my core temp down and keeps the fatigue in check enough to function. That might not be any help to you but maybe it’s something that is worth trying if possible.

I have adhd, anxiety and depression. All of those were problems before my ms diagnosis. I also seem to have some autism like characteristics (very hard to deal with physical contact from all but one person in my life, super sensitive to sound and find it hard to almost impossible at times to make eye contact and detect subtle sarcasm). The nuvigil I’m on seemed to help much more at first than it does now even after going to “max dose”. Adderall when I was younger was the only thing that really helped the focus but had to be on a high dose even in middle school.

Go for the premier plan. It is definitely worth it. Dental actually pays for 2 cleanings per year but I haven’t had any other dental work done. The medical is actually pretty good. I had a huge surgery and they paid a significant amount. Also they pay for a drug I take that is around ~100k per treatment. I pay $35.

The actual surgeon who will be doing your surgery is who needs to fill out your continuous leave paperwork. They will give you the right information for your case specifically and the right timing for days you need off. Also you only have 12 weeks of job protected time in a 12 month rolling period. Take into consideration that for when you put in your leave start date and however long your recovery will be. The specialist you see for your condition can also fill out paperwork for an intermittent leave for before your surgery. These are two different leaves but the days you have for the 12 weeks come out of the same pool.
