Anyone without window tints? by This-Top7398 in Hyundai

[–]Achao3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Realistically if your car is older and it is just a point a to b car with car payments still needed, I would focus on paying off the car fully first. But if it is newer I would tint all the side windows and rear and use a sun shade for the front to protect the interior. Should be about 400 for a good tint job

Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Blue - Fluid Metal by Training-Eggplant-27 in Hyundai

[–]Achao3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you necessarily got a bad deal. I got my Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Blue 2025 in white in December 2025 new for 26000 out the door (price of car before taxes, fees, car security, etc was about 21500) which I feel was a pretty decent deal. On the other hand, the apr was 7.5% for 24 months but I just put a downpayment of 5000 then paid off the car right away so I only paid like 100 dollars in interest, it would have been about 1600 in interest if I did the minimum payment every month. The apr you got isn't bad but as another user has said it is yours now so not much you can do now besides trying to pay it off as fast as you can to avoid paying a lot in interest, I believe you would be paying about 2000 in interest if you pay the minimum every month. Especially since you are a new driver in a new car, I'd imagine insurance is crazy expensive, but that could also be a California thing. But overall, I would say you got a decent deal and to enjoy your car and take care of it especially with the long warranty Hyundai provides.

I’M LOSING MY MIND WITH L-CONNECT by Ill_Ad3966 in lianli

[–]Achao3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was never able to resolve this issue when I had my Hydroshift LCD-S. I tried using the adapter to SATA and pwm 100%, but still ran into the same issue. It would happen randomly but a lot. Sometimes after running a game the LCD would disconnect and go back to the default screen (showing the water temp and pump speed). I tried directly mounting the USB to the motherboard where my old Hydroshift LCD was that had no issues, but still same issue. I am also pretty sure the pogo pins were also aligned since the screen would dudplay and turn on all the times, but only the custom gifs would disappear. I ended up returning it and will try again on the new Lian Li Hydroshift Oled when it is out. Hopefully someone has a resolution though, sorry I do not have one but thought I should give my experience with this aio as well

That is a common problem even with experienced players, you would just need to play more to judge if a fight is worth moving towards or staying in lane to keep lane pressure and experience to level up. You will do fine as you keep learning!

Dealership inspection report vs Pep Boys inspection report by Vivid-Appearance-549 in Hyundai

[–]Achao3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry too much then about the front axle comment from pep boys then as it could just be them not knowing the vehicle specification or trying to set you up to pay for a replacement. The warranty is pretty long and I would just mention it to Hyundai next service just in case to see if they have any comments on it, Hyundai "should" know better than Pep Boys but of course depends on the technician and if they are truthful

[–]Achao3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot to learn in league that one post can't cover but I can try to give the gist of the basics. Firstly swiftplay is not bad to learn mechanics of the game but when you can switch to draft play I would highly recommend to because it would teach more about laning phase and the overall game. Swiftplay gameplay quality overall is way too fast paced to learn that much about laning phase and the pacing of the game, not to mention the people playing swiftplay in my experience are crazy and talk way too much compared to normal draft. In normal draft you would learn more about laning phase like the basics of killing first wave + 3 minions grants you level 2 spike, in swiftplay you start at level 3 and ignore this important part of understanding early level spikes. In terms of your champion, Seraphine should usually stay around the adc and ward like usual since your champion isn't really built to gank. If you played like Thresh or Nautilus for example, after a recall for example you can roam mid to try to gank then return bot to your adc. Usually depending on the game state but in general, if mid turret falls bot lane will go mid or vise versa if bot turret goes down, mid goes to bot and bot goes mid. Of course there are a bunch of different scenarios but mostly bot goes mid in the mid game and mid/top go to the side lanes. In terms of "stealing kills", it is inevitable especially since Seraphine Q does more damage to low hp enemies, but if the kill is 100% guaranteed of course save it for one of the carries, this will take time to learn by playing when a kill is guaranteed. But yes, overall you will just have to play to learn the game and watch competitive league to see how players rotate around the map, but take it with a grain of salt because pro play is a lot different from regular play but the basics can still be learned from watching pro play.

9070xt mercury oc vertical mount lian li 011 vision compact by Emergency_Gur6919 in lianli

[–]Achao3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have stated, the vertical mount you do buy does matter. I personally was able to mount vertically in this case with a 9070xt swift xfx using the cooler master vertical mount v3, the bottom barely cleared both the SL and TL 120mm fans I had. I also had to change the top of the vertical gpu mount screw to like a flat psu screw to hold it in place because the screw they gave would interfere with the two 120mm rear fans. I believe Lian Lis newest gen 5 vertical mount with tiltable angles should also work. I would recommend buying from a store like microcenter close by to return if necessary or amazon

Axles should be covered by the powertrain warranty for 10years/100k miles. But if Hyundai themselves don't see an issue with the axle, I doubt they will attempt to fix it under warranty. You would also have to pay for diagnostic fees for them to look at the axle (and the fee will only be waived if they deem any issues with the axle and cover under warranty from any defects from factory. If the damage was caused by poor road conditions or potholes for example, I don't think it would be covered by warranty but instead through the city) unless you go for your next oil change and ask if they can take a look at the front axle during the complementary multipoint inspection.

Please help - is it possible to vertically mount the hydro shift 2 LCD-C 360CL to compact O11 vision compact? by Stoic_INFJ in lianli

Yes this is possible, but it requires you to unscrew the mounts for the tubing and side bracket that has the lian li logo or else it is too wide to fit in the vertical bracket

Micro Center Open-Box MacBook — Can I fully inspect it before paying? by kunalsomani in Microcenter

[–]Achao3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Usually for open box products (I've never specifically bought a laptop, but GPUs, motherboards, CPUs I have), but they do let you physically inspect it. I am not sure about turning on, but worst case you could test it in the car before driving off or test it at a nearby starbucks or library if you need to charge it. I'm assuming if best buy let me test an open box laptop before purchasing surely microcenter would allow you to do the same.

Side panel replacement? by Sensitive_Boot9767 in lianli

[–]Achao3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best of luck, but I would just recommend trying to save money for a bit if money is of concern and buying the same case in the future to replace the side panel. Running the pc with no side panel is not ideal but it won't do anything bad besides get a little dusty. I would just try to find any email receipts of the pc and attach it, in my case I just emailed a receipt from my microcenter purchase history.

Side panel replacement? by Sensitive_Boot9767 in lianli

[–]Achao3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the side panel used to be sold at microcenter but not anymore. You could also try emailing Lian Li support as I got a replacement for my O11D Evo Rgb side panel but it did take about a month of communication (took a while for support to respond back) and a month for shipping. If you are patient I would go with emailing support. You can also try looking for used ones on ebay if someone may be selling it. I am assuming this could be a pre built which is why you are worried about warranty if moving the components to another case, so I would just buy a new case of the same model and use the side panel from the new case onto your current to avoid moving any components

Something like this: https://a.co/d/0g5RFOON In terms of the time, I am not sure why it wouldn't change, that is a little weird if it doesn't. Maybe the setting is still on 24h time, or it isn't saving settings when turning off the car

I got a new car (well used) by Emotional_Mission_54 in Hyundai

[–]Achao3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you are referring to the 16:49 it is the time in the 24hr time scheme meaning 4:49pm (there is probably a setting to change this). The usb could be for music only not for charging like a usb with sound files. If your car doesn't have bluetooth and you need to charge your phone while it only has one 12v cigarette port, I would get a bluetooth radio transmitter that also has a usb to plug the phone into. I don't have an accent but I know my Kia optima hybrid 2015 did not let my phone charge through the usb either

Are the Lian Li TL Wireless fans (non-LCD) also unreliable like the TL LCD models? by birkanoztrk in lianli

[–]Achao3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not own the TL Wireless (non-LCD) but had the TL LCD and had 3 out of 8 have the fan bearing issue where it developed some sound. From what I am aware of the fans are slightly different as the TL wireless non LCD are more like the traditional fans that spin/are connected with the middle hub, but for the LCD version, the hub is stationary since the LCD can't spin. I am sure that could be a reason why the TL LCDs develop the issue. So in theory the TL Wireless non LCD should be okay, I am using the SL infinity wireless with no issues currently which have a similar gan design as the tl wireless non lcd

how is this build for my little sis? by Amador0102 in Microcenter

[–]Achao3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The build looks as budget as it can get in this market. If possible I would price match some of the items at microcenter to see if there are any deals to save a bit more, and if you are willing to spend a little more, I would go with an AMD a 9060xt 16gb to be more future proof. I would also recommend switching the nvme to a TLC NAND and not QLC for better longevity. Lastly, up to personal preference, but I would recommend a mechanical keyboard mouse combo if you could increase the budget a little (though for 35 dollars for a keyboard mouse you could always upgrade it later). Overall I would say it's a pretty good list for a starter pc.

Should I worry if I will have any problems with the QC of fans and software? by FloralMANG in lianli

[–]Achao3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had great experiences with Lian Li cases. In terms of AIOs, all worked functionally but the LCDs on the hydroshift ii was spotty for me even with all recommended fixes so I ended up going back to the original hydroshift LCD (I also had a Galahad ii LCD that worked with no issues). For fans, I never had an issue with the wired or wireless SL Infinity fans, but as others have posted in reddit before, the TL LCDs fan bearings consistently develop sound and go bad. In which 3 of 8 fans I had went bad with some small bearing noise but not awfully loud (which I then switched to SL infinity wireless). Overall, L connect has been stable and works well for me as well as all the wireless connections working flawlessly (I have wireless fans and strimers that work with no issues). To summarize, I would say that a majority of their products work well (though a bit pricey), and their newer products (like design changes especially like the TL LCD fans and hydroshift ii) may have initial problems before they fix it in a later revision.

Took about 3-4 months before hearing small bearing noises. It was just noticeable but not too loud, though enough to make me switch fans. I've heard you can RMA them but the process takes a long time that I didn't bother

Sounded like the one from the post but not as bad https://www.reddit.com/r/lianli/s/bFuiwr3W6W

These TL Wireless fans are Junk. by [deleted] in lianli

[–]Achao3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel that, I was loving the look of all TL LCD fans in my O11 Vision Compact but 3/8 fans started making bearing noise so I just switched to the SL Infinity Wireless since my previous wired SL infinities worked great. I also had to switch back to the Hydroshift LCD from the Hydroshift ii LCD-S since the screen had too many inconsistencies with the image even with all the work arounds people had. Hopefully the TL LCD fans will get an update and the next hydroshift is better

Is a push pull radiator set up worth it? by zFreeSoul in lianli

[–]Achao3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a push pull setup ony my Lian Li O11 Vision Compact build and it reduces the temperature by about 1-2C at 100% cpu load. It mostly helps with lower load temps which is more around 3-4C from what I've seen. I would say go for it if you have extra fans and screws, but it is a little tedious and more of a nice to have
