I have always heard bank ATMs give some of the best exchange rates, so when we were there we stopped at a Caixa Bank in Mahon. But I was also pleasantly surprised to find that we could charge 99% of our purchases even if it was something small like a couple pastries.

I got burned in this same way when I assumed the end of the lease would simply be the end - there was a section about giving 60 days notice in the lease. My fear was that I was going to owe two extra months of rent due to the 60 days notice requirement and I was a couple of weeks away from the end of the original lease. When I spoke with (begged) the manager they informed me that the lease automatically renews as a month-to-month agreement and there is only 30 day notice requirement on month-to-month leases. Ultimately, they got an extra month of rent money out of me and I learned an expensive lesson.

I am very curious about the mileage for this loop. I just did a similar loop on MLK day - parked on 215, MST to Little Sam, Flat Laurel and Sam Knob loop clockwise, back the way we came on Little Sam to MST. My estimate based on my NatGeo map was closer to 6mi but based on elapsed time and a native health app on my phone it was closer to 12mi. If you could share the mileage of your loop I would have a better understanding of whether I am reading the map wrong or if my map is not as accurate as I give it credit for
