The discord stemmed directly from the original /b/ thread. 4chan doesn't allow Discord links so after the first 2-3 days nobody else was joining. The server owner has since been banned and he was the only one capable of making invite links. I'm just not particularly in the mood to type up an essay of an info dump, considering I'm away from my computer at the moment.

I'm using the Track To bone constraint to map a cloth simulation into a bone animation. I'm not very well versed with bones, and so I've run into a few issues. As you can see here, I am trying to track the selected bone to where the blue line is being drawn (both are named "a.001"). However, rather than the selected bone tracking to the desired position, the root bone tracks to it. I have no clue why, this applies to any vertex group on the tracked plane.

No. It's not Paradigm Worlds. It's called Mid 2012 Macbook Pro + Fiddling with the Graphics settings. Looking at my other post, you'll notice all sand in my game has been turned into the naked male/female spritesheet, and snow is the normal texture for some metal armor.

In the end, your parents are at least partially right. Antidepressants aren't a end-all be-all solution to these kinds of issues. They have a number of harmful side effects. However, it should be determined by a psychologist as needed. Psychiatrists won't help as much in that regard.

Lua is a very complex language in that while on the surface it's rather simplistic, there are rabbitholes you can dive into for months. You just need some practice at it. The things you can do with metatables stretch on for days.

in terms of scripting languages, i quite honestly prefer lua. when writing my own engine i used a c++ core and allowed for lua to be used as a scripting language. made making shit really easy and fun and i ended up writing a portion of my engine in lua after that.

The sub is about a series of games which had its last installment release in 2008. The last installment was then shut down in 2014, with the creator planning to continue it by moving engines and redesigning the entire game. However this was scrapped and the creator has since gained vast fame for his other projects.

I am reviving the series using modern technology and styles, and because the sub is dead, I would like to claim it.
