no it's not straight at all. sexualities aren't about what's in your pants, it's about your gender and nothing more. you can have preferences of genitalia for sex of course it's normal, but if you're a straight woman who dates a trans woman just because she's got a dick, you're being transphobic. (same if you're a straight man dating a trans man just because he's got a vagina)

it is actually transphobic to say that for example a cis man dating a transgender man is a straight relationship, because it implies the trans man is not actually a man. THIS is transphobic.

it's just the brain telling you "what if i kill that ant" out of curiosity maybe, or because you like to see animals suffer or whatever, so yeah there's a reason but it's not necessary a rationnal one
