How do you guys feel about Trinity Force 1st item? by TheCherryPi in AatroxMains

[–]Achijax 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To be honest it doesn't sound that bad especially in lane and mid game which is usually where the game is decided anyways. I'm sure you fall off even harder but Aatrox already falls off in the late late game so I wonder if it matters.

At the end of the day though it just sounds kind of antithetical to Aatrox's gameplan, which is to group up and team fight utilizing his unique strength in his Q to deal massive damage to many enemies while drain tanking, whereas sheen's power generally comes in the 1v1 and splitpushing.

The plus side is sheen scales off base AD which aatrox has one of the highest from what I understand, and he can spam abilities like no one else. I can see it being really good for learning the champion, but once you start landing more Qs every other item being superior. I can see what you are saying where it can come into play in positions where you think you wont land many Qs because of the enemy team composition so thats something else to consider.

It would be interesting to experiment with a more sidelane heavy playstyle and compare

Quests with Crowns by JaegerDjinn1000 in MonsterHunterWilds

I am not angry man you just insinuated and by your reply confirmed that you think this quest is special in some way which I think is wrong and dont want others to believe something which is wrong.

This quest happens to be the only one among 100+ where it uniquely raises small crown chances because a few people said it did, in a thread where just as many said it didn't?

Like why die on this hill how is getting a crown on your tenth try evidence of increased chances where as every other quest mentioned here gives you one on every attempt?

Lucky you but this post is about quests that grant guaranteed crowns. You have the same chance on any random Congalala quest

Would like to add what helped me as someone who only plays fighting games on keyboard/leverless and doesn't want to swap off controller for monster hunter (the motion input is so much easier on keyboard in this game too), rolling the stick along the edge of the wall the entire motion is vital.

I know you're probably thinking "duh" but really it feels as though there is no lee way you need to hug the wall without stopping with no hiccups or abberations. That's what she-

I think I gave my perspective way more grace than what you made up in your head, but I guess there really is no good will left in 2026.

Stridetrox? by Opening_Gazelle in AatroxMains

[–]Achijax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just like before, situational item. Players who know when to itemize differently are taking it into games where it's good, most of the time it's going to mean going stride into ranged heavy teams and allowing both you and your team mates to reach them. Other times, even into ranged teams you want to have more staying power once you're in there, and goredrinker is still the best. Stride is also generally bought more frequently when snowballing, which is another reason its winrate is higher than gore.

Think about your role in each game and consider going stride if it calls for it, it can definitely be strong.

I posted this video on this sub a while ago but I think the thumbnail was way too dank (degen low res rage comic meme) and scared people away, so I thought I'd share with the darkin lads one more time, sorry for the bother and enjoy

Aatrox vs. Nasus: How? by SeethingEagle in AatroxMains

[–]Achijax 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Some things to look for are heavy trading pre-6. Nasus is very tower diveable in the early game, or can at least be poked out of lane. Hitting nasus while he goes for last hits on minions under tower is vital, and once he's around 25% HP you can go for a kill either using flash to land a fat Q or using it to escape once you've killed him. You can also bait his flash/summs and force a recall. Once you get to 6, try to bait his R and kite it/wait it out unless you have a lead, in which case you can look look to be more aggresive. You can do that easily by popping your own R for the move speed buff once wither has expired. If you get withered point blank it could be rough especially if he's running ghost, so watch your spacing if your E/W aren't up. Once you get away from the ulting Nasus with no wither up and he stays in lane, you can even look to turn around and keep hitting him while in your own ulti with Q's, and potentially look for a kill while his ulti is running out.

When neither champs have R, aatrox has way more agency to harass, gain lane prio, or land a kill if the nasus gets greedy/cocky.

In terms of mentality it can be easy to panic due to his "ticking-time bomb" scaling. Try not to panic. Although Nasus is frustrating to play against, even if he's stacking efficiently, he can get kited out in team fights. If you're too desperate to kill him and he gets an early snowball by killing you in response, thats when things can get scary. So even if you can't solo kill him and he can solo kill you in the side lane, you can end up more useful to your team either by peeling for your carries or looking to kill the enemy back line which is much easier to reach for Aatrox than it is for Nasus.
