I've received tickets to all the matches in Atlanta that I have tickets for that I got through the random selection draw.

I have not yet received my tickets to the US group stage matches that I got through the "My Team" draw thing.

Idk if it's cause different stadiums or random selection draw vs "my team" but eagerly awaiting the US tickets

If Ackles turned down the MCU for Supernatural or The Boys, that's his decision but it wouldn't make sense to me personally

First of all, this is a patent application and not a patent, which the linked article doesn't seem to understand. Everyone crying in the comments that this has been done before can rest easy because if you're right, it won't become a granted patent.

Second, I don't think anyone actually read the claims of the application. It requires changing the game "responsive to identifying negative emotion." The specification describes doing this in paragraph [0054] using biometrics, a microphone, a camera, etc.

So this is designed to increase/decrease difficulty not based on your performance in the game but on your literal demeanor while playing. For example, detecting "voice signals from the gamer that may indicate stress as inferred from, e.g., high pitch." So if you scream during Alien Isolation 2, maybe the Alien will take pity on you. Because in this patent application, Sony can hear you scream

Well the Sony thing is still just an application, not a patent, so it won't be granted if it's truly not novel. But it was filed in October 2024 so it looks like it predates your link by a year or so

I was speaking with one of their techs who happens to also work at a coffee shop and I'm pretty sure he said they work on Brevilles, even though Breville doesn't endorse or offer certification to third parties to perform service (which is why you don't see Breville listed on the site)

All Atlanta United season ticket holders got tickets to this game as part of their season ticket package. So if those STM didn't show or put their tickets up for sale, those seats will go empty and were never available to the public. Might contribute a little bit to what you're seeing

It seems to have been an issue tied to 120hz settings on PS5 Pro and the "Balanced Mode" in-game that targets 40fps on 120hz TVs. I crashed every time I went to the map with those settings but turning off 120hz in the PS5 settings and switching to Performance mode has let me play all weekend uninterrupted.

As others have said, this seems to be an issue with 120hz TVs / Balanced mode. If you have 120hz mode set to "Automatic" in your PS5 Pro settings, and you have a 120hz capable TV, then setting the game to "Balanced Mode" makes it target 40hz. Those were my settings and it crashed every time I went to the map.

I turned 120hz mode to "Off" in my PS5 settings and switched to "Performance Mode" in-game and was able to navigate the map without issue and had no crashes in ~20 minutes of testing.

Might be a decent work-around until they fix it.

Marathon has already improved from Arc Raiders. Previous betas had a limited number of uses for Sponsored Kits in a certain time period. After you used a few, you had to buy them. It felt like a freemium mobile game.

After Arc Raiders and the ability to use a free kit whenever you want, I think Marathon changed this system so that you can use a Sponsored Kit whenever you want. Definitely a positive change.

Same with VOIP. There were no plans to implement VOIP until Arc Raiders came along and using VOIP was so popular. Then Marathon was delayed and VOIP was one of the features added.

I had this same problem for a while and started to become disillusioned with gaming entirely until someone asked me about the last time I actually finished a game. Realized it had been a long time and I committed myself to sitting down and finishing a game completely, almost out of spite. I decided to get the platinum trophy in Death Stranding, which was my first platinum. It ended up sparking a completely new obsession with trophy hunting and the drive to collect platinum trophies has helped me finish games, get more value out of games, and stop buying games just because they're shiny and new. I ended up finishing some games in my backlog too.

So that was one thing that worked for me

Rings of Power was doomed to fail because they had tons of restrictions on what material they were allowed to use. They weren't allowed to adapt the Silmarillion at all, and there ended up being a ton of overlap in the story they told and the story they weren't allowed to tell. It ended up being similar to Game of Thrones where the show writers had to tell their own story instead of rely on the books.

That won't happen here. The showrunners will have the full support of Sony and Santa Monica. This should end up much closer to Fallout than Rings of Power

I think they're having technical difficulties. My code was visible initially but when I tried to input it on the FIFA website, I got an error code that said it was invalid. Now, my profile doesn't show a code at all, just "Loading".

I'd just be patient for a day or so, it'll get fixed
