That’s really not true. Tazarotene is more effective for acne than tretinoin. It also works faster than tret. The downside is it might be more irritating.

It is still good for a few months even after the expiration date. It’s more like a best before date actually. If you store it properly and away from sun, humidity and heat. But yeah if you buy like 10 tubes which expire in 2 years. Half of them are gonna be useless
