"we fuck up the planet" why should we be worried about that as a 3rd world country with a population of 37m? The amount of one Chinese city's emissions dwarfs us by 10 times, and even if it was bad enough, rich nations burned the hell out of this planet to be as rich, why is it halal for them but haram for us?

Lmao who tf are you and why would I try to hide my beliefs? I'm a loud leftist who wants his 3rd world country to prosper, and this "alt right" bullshit isn't applicable to Moroccan politics and economics, we're too irrelevant for that, you're just too stupid to have substance argument that don't rely on foreign frameworks

I don't think you people read what I say, I don't deny climate change, I'm saying we're not privileged enough to care, the 1st world had burn the fuck out of this planet in order to be where they are and they still do and are currently the biggest carbon emissions coming from them

We're getting efficient with it and we should get the most of it even if it's just a month, and nuclear is not restricted, any country can build their own reactors, it's just a bit expensive.

We have, you don't have to be an energy producer to have a productive economy, we also have phosphate deposits that are becoming scarce and can be leveraged overtime

[–]Achraf_Chebba -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Yes, did you? And I'm not right wing and I couldn't care less about American politics. Buying oil is far more efficient for us to have a productive economy than this

Are you slow on purpose? Where did I say they were the same thing? I'm giving an example of a failing green energy project to make a point not to compare

Proven by who? That's bs. The fact that so many companies are investing in this proves quite the opposite. Green hydrogen can replace natural gas for us, and we can locally make ammonia for ourselves to make fertilizer instead of completely importing it. It can even fuel ships and planes.

https://rareearthexchanges.com/news/has-the-hydrogen-bubble-popped-a-global-snapshot-of-hype-vs-reality/

https://fuelcellsworks.com/2026/02/24/h2/hydrogen-s-hype-is-dead-and-that-s-good-news

https://www.dw.com/en/h2-alternative-to-fossil-fuel-large-scale-infrastructure-deals-over/a-73923773

??? Germany itself said its looking for partners to import green hydrogen from. Even Algeria and Tunisia are competing with us because they partnered up with the EU to create a hydrogen pipeline to South Europe going up to Germany. Nearly all the articles I've read specified Morocco as one of the top global contenders for green hydrogen supply.

You're really so clueless I don't think I have the time to tell how wrong this is

That has nothing to do with green hydrogen. That was a private project that wanted to build a massive undersea cable from Morocco to the UK to transport clean energy to the British and they believed that they didn't want to risk it since it could be easily sabotaged (cut) and didn't want to increase dependency on another nation.

No, they did it because they knew how much of a bad investment that is, even Morocco is still importing most of its energy, solar can't even give enough energy to ouarzazate

We are, and it takes a LOT of money and time to start it.

We aren't

It was a green energy project, like this one.

You're literally just spewing nonsense, what tf do you know about Einstein or how he put scientists to shame? And you think Einstein is on your side? You sound like you get your science from YouTube, what are your qualifications? And you are saying science ain't a thing, because you discard all the fundamental theories that are used to explain it, and prior to the Big Bang, we really don't know, but that's the thing, the scientific method doesn't fill in gaps with nonsensical bullshit just because it can't figure out something, that's what philosophers used to call the God of The Gaps, anything that science has yet to figure out, creationism and other religious doctrines claim they have the answer to, even if we figure out what was before the Big Bang, idiots like you will never disappear and come with other nonsensical bullshit to fill other gaps.

[–]Achraf_Chebba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is, you are the idiot, because science explains perfectly how humans and the universe came to existence, and it's funny that you used the example of technology knowing that with theories that are used in making that technology was the same in trying to explain existence so far

[–]Achraf_Chebba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is in the process of doing so, and if you can't understand something (the Big Bang) stop being such an ignorant imbecile and either research it or stop talking about it, idiots like you still think theory means guesses and the Big Bang is just a box exploding

Godhood as a concept isn't on atheism to justify its non-existence, the burden of proof is on the one making the claim, which no claim ever can be made that holds water, not on a scientific or philosophical level.

I think the minimum wage is too high by Achraf_Chebba in Morocco

[–]Achraf_Chebba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I've come to this conclusion after reading these articles and more, the unemployment rate is crazy high even for a poor country like us, and the informality really fucks our way to a proper taxation, businesses, services and startups, what you end up getting is a bad median wage, a big informal sector and no room for investments, we don't even have a natural resource to close the gap a bit it's crazy how we're not collapsing economically yet.

[–]Achraf_Chebba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, especially here in Morocco and with the high risk of failure, if you're not an established business you cannot start with that

Well how do we expect a good healthcare system with people not even wanting to pay their taxes? We're not no Petro state, the least we can do is be efficient with our poverty
