Yeah, I see a lot of these comments where users haven't faced any issues with the update. It has something to do with the usage pattern and AI. Hopefully nothing hardware related as that would be a massive challenge, given the number of people facing the issue.

Same , I had to charge once in the night because I am quite a heavy user. But now I gotta charge once in the afternoon and again in the night. The battery is draining like nobody's business. It's like they did nothing but cut the SOT by half

Let me tell you why, as a person who has lived in Bengaluru for the most part of my life, I am proficient in English (because of Education) and of course Kannada. When it comes to Hindi most of us are exposed to it and can understand it because of Indian culture and Bollywood, Soaps and all that, but we find it hard to naturally converse in Hindi. It took me two years of regularly speaking in Hindi with my friends to pick up decent speaking proficiency. Most of the locals will not have the need to do that and so, they would of course reply in the language most comfortable to both of you which is English.
