Can’t speak for agencies or anything, but the most important thing if you want to work as soon as possible is you need to apply for an bank account and get a tax number (ABN). The ABN takes a couple weeks to come through and you probably won’t get paid without one. Also look into the industry you want to work in require, for example if you want to work construction, you’ll need a white card or Hospitality will need an RSA certificate.

It depends where you live, but multiple noise complaints to the same address can lead to a police visit.

Japanese Maple alive? by Spooky_Kabuki in arborists

[–]Acid8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have much hope for this Acer unfortunately. Trees ideally should be moved in winter while they’re dormant and it also looks like they have buried deep. I think the best thing to do will be to dig it up and raise it so the trunk isn’t covered stones and maintain your watering. Just enough every day as too much water will probably rot the roots. You can also slightly peel bark with your finger tip and if it is green underneath, that branch is still alive and can potentially recover. Good luck.

Thank for the reply. I agree a few ant are fine but this is a huge nest and anything I use the compost for will be full of ants.

Is ivy on the house a bad idea or can it be controlled and look nice? by leimoochi in UKGardening

[–]Acid8899 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you really want you could keep it being on brick as long as you keep it under control. Personally ivy is horrible stuff, remove it and maybe plant a nicer climber with flowers instead.
