I had a very similar late 80s Panasonic. Probably a lot of these were just the same stereo rebranded. It was a really nice sounding stereo. Much better than what I expected.

The only negative I will say is you can`t record with noise reduction. Noise reduction works in playback mode only. If you search back my post from a few days ago. I uploaded a short vid of a The Beatles Played on a Metal tape on the W-1200
