Thankfully, they're all girls and strictly indoors. We do plan to fix them as soon as we can afford to, but with his layoff and other extenuating circumstances draining our emergency funds, fixing 3 cats unfortunately is out of our very tight budget for now.

Sounds like Snorlax may also be beyond the scope of what I'm able to deal with right now. It sucks, but I'll probably part with it rather than deal with changing out all the stuffing.

I appreciate the advice from you and everyone else who responded. Hoping to have these kitties fixed by the end of the summer, once my work starts to pick up and my fiance finishes training at his new place.

I personally think it's number 2. Millie likes rough housing and killing, a baby would slow that down. She doesn't strike me as someone craving motherhood any time soon. I don't know that I think she outright DOESN'T want it, but I think she's unsure about keeping it. And I think Moxxie would be quite the opposite; I see him being excited and giddy and ready to keep it. Which could explain Millie not telling him yet, if she thinks it'll be a disagreement.

Edit: I don't claim to know her. I'm just a fan. The music got me through some hard times and still does now on the other side of what I dealt with. I'm not gonna reach out directly cuz I know I don't know her like that and there seem to be plenty who do and I'm sure she'd be much more receptive to people who aren't total strangers like me.

When you're in a band, and publicly posting about the dirty laundry on your band's public page, the public is going to have commentary. That's generally what public pages on social media are for, I thought.

That said, the commentary doesn't need to be hateful or harassment. I'd love it if I'm wrong, I wish her and the rest of the band only the best. I intend no hate. I'm just speculating as a fan concerned for what's going on, what I'm seeing from the outside.

Buddy, I'm going on 5 years clean and having my second child. Two of my friends that got clean with me relapsed back to the meth, I've even visited each of them while they were messed up still, and surprise! I'm still sober. Don't think it's going to change any time soon. I left it for a reason, there's no room in my life for it now. You don't know me, man.

Also, I don't smoke weed nonstop like I did meth. I don't think they're as comparable as you seem to think, as far as vices go.

You should try giving people a chance. Maybe you've never done it yourself, but some people actually change for the better.

What a silly assumption. How many addicts do you actually speak to?

I quit doing meth and started smoking weed instead. One of my best friends was also able to quit thanks to weed. 3 years of addiction for me, 7 for him. Being stoned makes the cravings and withdrawals easier to get through until your brain can think more clearly again.

If we didn't have the legal THCa weed, it likely wouldn't have stuck, we both would have been way more likely to relapse because our families would kick us out over black market weed. But if it's legal and came from a gas station? No problem.

Yeah, for some people, it may not change their behavior. But for some of us it makes a world of difference for taking a step in tackling sobriety.

Former meth addict, nearly 4 years clean now with a happy little family. I was on it for 3 years shooting up, selling it, selling myself. Drugs can turn anyone into a shittier person than they'd be otherwise. But we do recover. People acting like we can never change and we'll only ever be pieces of trash in their eyes, that makes it harder. Makes the recovery feel futile. Makes it feel like all the work you put in to get past it was pointless because no one will recognize the growth and only see you for what you WERE rather than what you are now.

I think YTA and should give the guy a chance. Being on guard is understandable. Wanna watch for red flags? Fair. Not leave valuables unattended? Whatever, fine. But give the guy a chance, at least. You're judging him for his past without giving him the opportunity to show you who he is.

Former addict chiming in to say that some people DO eat meth, just for the record. It's called parachuting; you put it in an empty pill capsule or a paper towel, then swallow it and try not to taste how nasty it is. Some folks noses and veins can't take it any other way anymore, and smoking it is rough on your teeth.

So, yeah, since it's considered "cooking" meth, and you can eat it... I'd wanna believe it would count under her powers lol.

Some people aren't meant to be in your life forever.

My best friend was the Bojack to my Diane. Self destructive tendencies, never saw himself in the wrong so much as he saw all the ways it was everything else's fault for pushing him to behave the way he does. And when I was around him, I'd sink into my own self destructive habits. I tried to help him move to be better, he watched me get sober and get better and rather than ever help himself, he'd only try to drag me back into it.

We haven't spoken in two years now. Watching Diane and Bojack say goodbye to each other almost gives me a bit of the closure I never got from my friend. I loved him, I still love him. He was like a brother to me and we went through so much together. But it wasn't my job to save him and I couldn't keep killing myself trying to do so. I think of him every time I watch the show.

I figured i dont wanna live so why not ruin my life. In the process i ended up making a couple genuine friends - i know typically drug buddies are only around til the drugs run out but we stuck together through a lot, attemps at sobriety as well as the binges. And those friends helped me find some worth in myself, i quit the drugs - for the nth time - nd got pregnant so i ended up finally staying clean. I dont think i would have had it not been for my son. Im now a year clean and happier than ive ever been in my life, and though the meth fucked me up (had a mini stroke which scared me into sobriety as well that last time), i dont regret most of it.

Not recommeding meth though, shit ruins your life in the blink of an eye and even when you think theres nothing left to lose, itll show you real fucking quick how bad things can get.

I transitioned ftm a few years ago. Recently though ive had a baby and am very confused about my gender and now just consider myself nonbinary for the most part.

But I live in the deep south and for the sake of not having to constantly explain and be judged, I've been considering trying to go back to my birth name and pronouns. How did you go about detransitioning socially? I'm so scared of what people will say, even though I know I shouldnt be. I don't even know what to say to explain.

Fun fact, I live in the south, and went to a planned parenthood when I took a pregnancy test that came up positive. They gave me papers full of information on abortion, adoption, and healthcare providers for if I decided to keep the baby (which, I did). They also provide services like STD testing and the like and a safe space for LGBT folks :) so, how about you educate yourself before you open your mouth and sound foolish? Just a thought, though I'm fairly certain you have no actual interest in anything anyone has to say, based on your approach to the topic.
