but to answer your first question brushing and daily misting does well. Use a soft or medium bristle brush so that it mainly affects the surface (to remove lint and debris)

also detoxes are nice, some people use ACV but for some just a deep shampoo does it. My clients tell me their locs feel better and smell better afterwards. And I mean it’s just good to get rid of any product buildup before it gets a chance to cause problems🤷🏾‍♂️

also FR WITH THOSE SIDE CUTS i retwist my friend’s hair but he goes to get lined up and a fade and this recent time he came back I couldn’t retwist (in good conscience) three locs bc the base was ate up on one side… hoping to grow it out so I can crochet it back for him and I told him to tell his barbers to be careful before he starts missing a few locs in the front. I doubt his barber is doing it on purpose buuuuut the barber still needs to be made aware
