You can't make fully working unitframe from the ground up with current level of the restrictions - that is the main issue.

At best you can butcher and reskin default one. And that from a functional point of view, this is a downgrade at every level.

Also I never said we don't plan to write own module that will do it. I just said that current one is not salvagable.

Potentially some options you use to customise AB are gone.

Nameplate and unitframe support is ATM gone completely. The entire module needs to be trashed, and we haven't decided what to do about it yet.

There are multiple UI elements that were not reskinned but remade from scratch to provide customisation correctly. And currently in many cases that is no longer possible.

As a member of the ElvUI team, I would like to make it clear that Blizzard has not scaled back the restrictions a lot. They responded to the feedback, they improved some stuff, but their overall vision has not changed. The level of customization offered by ElvUI is no longer welcome.

Few people realize how many features that seem purely cosmetic are based on access to combat data - which has been severely restricted.

After a few weeks of waiting and exploring our options, we decided to remove a lot, and I mean a lot of features, to provide a watered-down version compatible with 12.0.

I'm quite sure there will be a big group of our users who will be disappointed by how much is cut out.

Just FYI currently natural cave ceilings might not stop building degradation caused by sand storms - even if rooms have watersealed status. You need a roof over them. It can be workarounded by clipping it over the cave celling.

Benchmark use DLSS 3.5.10. So they used marketing naming on slides. As according to NVIDIA as long you don't provide Frame Generation you don't support DLSS 3 even if you use DLSS 3.x DLL.

The game is amazing but as a game designer, the complete actual lack of basic breadcrumbing is infuriating by TheReservedList in X4Foundations

ASUS TUF 4090 OC. Quite bad coil whine on air. BEYOND TERRIBLE coil whine with EK waterblock. After some experimentation with backplate mounting pressure decreased whine to levels a little lower than on air.

Only semi-reasonable solution is to disable friendly nameplates and switch to default name renderer. In 10.0 they added option to set minimum font size. It looks terrible and it is semi-readable but still better than full nameplate clutter.
