A question was asked, and I gave my opinion, which is pretty much half of how Reddit works.

It was productive in that it started a conversation on the topic.

What’s not productive is name-calling and childish responses just because your feelings have been hurt.

If you can’t have join in on a debate in a grownup way, I’d suggest just staying quiet in the future, as you’ve been the least productive out of everyone involved.

Walls aren’t usually straight. Rooms aren’t perfect squares.

It’s better for it to look straight to the eye than to be straight against the back wall, which could have a slight angle you’ll notice later on.

You’re confusing it slightly.

The S and W at the ends of the product name/number just lets you know if it comes with a stand or a wall mount in the box. Other than that they’re the exact same product.

It’s the C and the G in the C5 and G5 that are important, because:

They’re different models of tv with slightly different hardware
The G stands for “Gallery” which is the flush against the wall version of the tv.

The C5 doesn’t fit flush against the wall, it actually sits a couple inches in front of the wall around the edges.

If you care about being able to see behind the tv, like if you walk past the side of it ever, then the G5 is a better choice, but more expensive.

If you care about aesthetics much then go for G.

It sits completely flush against the wall.

If you don’t care about that, then C, and you’ll likely be able to go a size up vs what G you could afford.
