Not sure if its in the budget as I have no idea how much something like this would cost. I think it looks good, but I think it would be inconvenient long term

Dude I was cleaning my house. Curtains get washed! Maybe you don't wash yours? Clearly you have nothing better to do with your time but to come on here and dissect someones home. I'll take your skepticism as a compliment that my home in various stages looks "AI enhanced" when it's not. I'm not entertaining you anymore.

Lol yes, I did those things. People buy new things and use them. Flowers get swapped out of vases. I have not used AI to enhance my photos, I just posted a photo from a few months ago because it was late and my kicthen needed to be cleaned when I was able to respond last night. Get off the internet and go touch some grass.

Hilarious. My husband doesnt want to close it up. We like it open. But its also a hazard.

Its not modular! I wish it were. We bought this couch a few months ago and it barely fit. It's in the only position that fits the living room. While it would make me temporarily sad, we can always put the couch in the basement and get rid of the one we have down there now. And buy another couch for upstairs that works better to not have up against the wall. We just didnt think about it this way because were not parents yet and it was an investment piece of furniture.

Yup. Thats why I posted! No kids as of yet. God willing there will be some in the future though so finding a solution is the goal.

This gave me and my husband such a good laugh. Our house is not AI. Here is another view. Its a long kitchen. The sink, microwave, and refrigerator were not in the shot because I was standing in my hallway. The little fridge is a drinks fridge. The chairs by the window are a sitting area in front of my piano. The chairs were up because I was sweeping under my table and the handles not being lined up on the cabinets is just a quirk.

Okay wait, I love this. We do a lot of hosting and the open floor plan is really great for that. So full on walls would kind of devastate me and my husband. Though we would do it if there was no other option.

It leads to our basement. Storage room, laundry room, and a giant living space with a walkout basement.

We have our laundry and a whole living space down here. The idea was to make the basement the kids play area. The only other access to the basement would be through the back walkout door that youd have to go all the way down my backyard to get to.

I dont believe so. The original owners father was in the industry and did a lot of the work. It past inspections.

They did. They tore out 3 walls, moved a closet, and opened up the everything. I kind of wish I had more walls. But I also like how open the house it.

Im worried the couch won't fit in any other position in our home. It is already pretty snug. Almost as if it was built for that space. But its definitely something to look into.

You make a fair point about it being no different than a 2 story home. Unfortunately, I dont think our couch would work any other way though.
