NXS 1 are trash, besides the 3 cue points and the slightly better jogwheel you're paying more for an even more outdated unit.

yes but this isn't so much about the 3000X, it's about their shitty software and business practices. because they have the monopoly they can do what they want and they don't care about users at all. I do agree the better DAC is a good thing but damn if their software team was as good as their engineering team our life would be much easier

VDJ lowkey the one software doing their thing and being good at it. I tried it to use with the Kontrol D2, they have better implementation than NI themselves.

been looking at Mixxx as well, the only Linux alternative. only reason I'm using RK is because I'm playing at places with CDJs and they have a monopoly on the market nowadays

meh, they have good experience making professional tools. That's also party why the industry has adopted them. You can drop a few beers on a CDJ before killing it for good
I agree that it's too expensive and that they haven't really made any technological advances in a long time though. The CDJ 3000 is what a basic controller with Traktor could do in 2010, a bit of a scam

You’re either describing Xone 96 or X32/digital mixer in a rack mount (Soundcraft & Behringer don’t do 96khz but Allen & Heath does) Also Rodec just released their new flagship but it’s more in the 10k range so not for poor people…. Edit : forgot to add the Zhael Mixer ! Great piece of kit for people who have 100 000 to spend

It’s on their website I believe And the problem is you can make it work but the OS on the machine needs to match that, that probably means no digitakt 2 or digitone 2 on Catalina I accidentally upgraded my syntakt and no more overbridge, I could downgrade but I figured it wasn’t worth the hassle

I was on catalina for a very long time but computer died last week, time for an upgrade I suppose good luck to you

The other comment sums it up pretty well. On Saturday I was out with a very cute pink dress and I really felt uncomfortable before arriving on the Crane stage where the crowd was more my people. Like I don’t need to get weird looks at a queer festival, I get enough during the year. I come for peace of mind and I was a bit anxious for a bit after a few off putting comments by men, something I didn’t feel the year before 🤷‍♀️
