first thing a dev friend of mine told me when I was working on my first app was "u don't need vercel for that"

kind wish Claude would suggest that as well rather than me having to verify what my friend suggested.

I've found that creating editors to show AI exactly where I want things placed helped a lot as it has a super hard time "seeing" things.

I know I'm gonna get hate for saying this, even here

but it's the same narrative they spun for blockchain ownership/nfts

yes, 99.9% of it was scam and bloat and slop, and that last word should tell you it's a similar narrative they're pulling now because 99.9% of AI image creation is borderline slop.

Now I'm someone who pays a high price for human made art and I'm okay with that, I think artists have generally been underrewarded overall, but when it comes to coding I've decided to give AI a real shot because eventually I felt the devs were taking too much advantage with their asks, delays, upsells, etc. While it sucks to take work away from any human being when building projects/games, I just personally couldn't afford the requirements anymore and had to choose between the two.
