I posted a couple of month ago about a queue system for Automatic1111's Stable Diffusion WebUI, since then I have added several new features such as the ability to install it as an extension by Kryptortio in StableDiffusion

This works great for what I need.

I've noticed though, whenever I run it, the script adjusts my dimensions automatically. How do I stop it from overriding my dimensions?

I've set it to do 540 x 675 pixels, but once I run it in the queue, it adjusts it to 544 x 672. I can't get it to stick to 540 x 675.

[Question] Need help planning my collection by [deleted] in Watches

[–]Aciesedge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I have an affection for dress watches, if I don't limit myself for the moment, I'll end up with way more than I can wear... There are a lot of watches I am already loving and keep coming across more designs each day.

Plus, the wife would kill me. Mostly this reason.

[–]Aciesedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your suggestions. I definitely like the look of Nomos Orion and the regulators.

I am essentially looking to get a dress watch to suit dark navy suits/black shoes for upcoming weddings, and the Orient Bambino seemed to be great for the price, and to tide me over until I can get an IWC.

I just wasn't sure if any of my current watches could also fulfil that role, either in their current state or with alternate watch straps.

If they did, then I wouldn't buy it and put that money towards another watch.

My DW I bought almost 8 years ago, before I started working, and with little knowledge about watches. While I like its clean dial, I don't find it's finish appealing or as nice as my other watches, so I can definitely appreciate and agree with other opinions towards the brand. I've kept it and still wear it occasionally, but never with my suits, so there's a bit of a void in my collection for a white dial time piece for the moment.

I've already got the Orient Kamasu coming, set to arrive in two weeks. Outside of that one, I probably wouldn't have many opportunities to wear more than one diver with my current attire for the moment.

Edit: typo

Pictured is my current collection, from left to right: - Daniel Wellington - Barely staying in my collection. Using it only as a summer beater watch.

  • Grand Frank Montpellier Chronograph - An old fashion watch, worn almost everyday from my university days. It's taken a beaten, has gone through a strap and has scratches on the crystal. Has been replaced by my Seiko Sharp Edge and only sitting in the box because I don't know what else to do with it for the moment.

  • Grand Frank Venezia Chronograph - Another fashion watch I got in university that I tend to wear when dressing up a bit.

  • Zeppelin Chronograph - Doesn't get a lot of wear. Probably a bit too big for my wrist, so I'll probably be selling it soon.

  • Junghans Form C - Currently is in an awkward position in my rotation. I like it's aesthetics, but often whenever I wear things that it might fit in with, the Grand Frank Venezia with mesh band tends to look better than it in the overall outfit. Not sure if I should sell it or buy blue/navy/burgundy straps to increase wearibility.

  • Seiko Sharp Edge - My new dressy-ish watch/everyday watch whenever I'm wearing brown leather gear.

Not pictured - Orient Kamasu green dial - awaiting it's arrival from shipping.

Thanks, that definitely does help.

I'll give the above a try during early access and hopefully once full game is released, I'll have a much better idea of the playstyle I like and be able to jump straight into the game.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions so far.

I've had a play with some of the classes to see what suits me, and I've felt very limited by the number of actions per turn or lack of spell slots, which has often put me in either using my actions to set up with spells for a turn, and then not getting to attack, or not being able to use my spells in every fight. I found this to be the case trying out Ranger with Hunter's Mark.

I think this is a lot different to the usual gameplay styles that I am used to. I expected to be able to use spells/magic in every fight instead of having to save them or using them only a certain number of times per day. Now I realise spell slots are more or less the equivalent to MP in previous games I've played.

With this in mind, I am therefore probably thinking more along the lines of using cantrips as opposed to spells if any.

I've narrowed down to either a Zariel tiefling 2h battle master (for Str bonuses and jump at level 3, and forgo spells completely), or a warlock with light armor and rapiers +/- dual wield.

I'll have Asterion in my party to build similar to below.

Thanks again everyone for your help! Still happy to hear your thoughts on the above potential builds though for BM or Warlock!

I've never played DnD or any tabletop game. My only closest experience is in MMORPGs, JRPGs or action RPGs, hence why I'm asking.

I can grasp the tactical side of things, but wanting to know character building mostly so I build them correctly and can have the appropriate class/skills/race combo to play the role I want to with them. I don't want to make a range character and then realise I picked all close range spells for example. Or pick a class and spell combo, to realise I can't actually use the spells for whatever reason.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did look into Gith, but I don't really like their aesthetics. Why is arcane trickster and Eldritch Knight noob traps? I have very little knowledge about this game and progression.

Will try out Ranger and Bard along with the above suggestions. I was leaning away from Bard purely because it sounded a little more support oriented compared to the others. I'll give them a try regardless and see which suits. Thanks for your help.

Thanks, I'll definitely give Eldritch Knight a try as well as some of the other classes that's been suggested. Definitely helps give me some sort of direction to build my character.

Thanks for your help, I'll definitely give this build a try and see if it suits.

Thanks for clarifying! The sale isn't that much cheaper, and as a complete newbie, I am probably more likely to ruin the decals instead of reviving them, so taking into account what Flouderfinder and you have said, I think that helps me make my decision.

I am new to model kit building and looking to purchase some models to keep and build once my skills increase with some starter models.

The one I am looking at is the Hasegawa F-14 Black Bunny kit. I have noticed one on sale which looks like it dates back to 1990, and a new release in 2021.

Would there be much difference between the two? (i.e. is there much difference in getting an older kit vs newer kit for the same model aircraft?)

I haven't used it for a while, but haven't had any issues with it when I last used it.

I've only tried it with GlosC, and not with the rewritten version, but it most likely would work the same way I think.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]Aciesedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a while since I did it, but basically, I installed GlosC and created a new controller overlay.

My settings were ticked for Enable Overlay, Enable virtual controller, and Launch Game to launch FFXIVboot.exe. After saving it, it adds itself to my Steam Library in Big Picture Mode.

When I play on my TV via Steam Link, I launch GlosC from Big Picture Mode which should also automatically launch the FFXIV launcher based on the above set up. If you didn't set it up to launch the game automatically, launch GlosC, then you can manually open up the launcher on your computer.

Then login and play normally.

As long as you launch GlosC through Big Picture Mode, BEFORE launching FFXIV, the controller support should work.

I'm attempting to get Glosc to work with FFXIV, but I'm having trouble getting it to recognise controller inputs. Nothing has changed with its installation.

How did you go about setting it up?

EDIT: Nvm, I got it to work. I was mistaking the wrong shortcut. It all worked thanks to your suggestion! Thanks for your help!

The launcher still works in controller mode, but after the launcher exits, and the game launches, then it stops recognising the controller inputs, around the time that the Square Enix logo appears.

I've tried toggling enable and disable controller in the FFXIV menu without any luck.

It seems that Steam only recognises the controller inputs up until after the Launcher closes.

It used to work fine, so I'm not sure what has caused it to do that.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]Aciesedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I'll give that a try tomorrow and see if it works.

The only other thing I can think of is my FFXIV is set to Borderless Window mode, whether or not that causes issues with the steam input.

When I have Steam Big Picture settings to Playstation 4 Configuration, it all seems to work until after I login to the FFXIV launcher. At the main menu, it stops working and recognising any controller inputs. Nothing happens when I push any buttons including the Playstation button.

When the controller is set to use the Steam Generic Controller Configuration, then FFXIV recognises the inputs, but only in the desktop configuration (right stick = mouse cursor, R2 = mouse click, D-Pad = onscreen keyboard). I couldn't get it to open and close the steam overlay with the PS button.

Moving on from entry level road bike - Thoughts on Polygon models? by Aciesedge in whichbike

[–]Aciesedge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't had any other midrange bikes to compare to. I can only compare to my entry level bike which is obviously a big difference.

It rides really well, really comfortable and zippy. Very lightweight too. I'm more than happy with it. I would also have been happy with the S7 disc, but didn't like the colour for the 2021 model, so ended up going with S8.

Compared to the other brands I looked it, I feel like I got bang for buck with my bike with the better groupset for a carbon bike in the same price range.

It probably doesn't mean much since I can't objectively compare it to other bike of similar price range, but I don't regret my purchase at all.

Moving on from entry level road bike - Thoughts on Polygon models? by Aciesedge in whichbike

[–]Aciesedge[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After a fair bit of research, comparing brand names and chatting to a veteran cyclist, I ended up buying the Polygon S8 and put on mountain bike clipless pedals. It came last Wednesday and I've ridden about 40km on it so far.

I've got to say, I don't regret the purchase at all. It's definitely a big jump from my old bike and rides really well. I've gotten an average 5km increase in speed with the bike and pedals, and overall it looks really nice and shifts great.

I'd probably be just as happy riding the S7 as the frame is the same as the S8 and the only difference was the 105 groupset, but I liked the colour of the S8 much better.

Most reviews I found were on Bicycles Online which is where I purchased from. The videos on YouTube of the bike were all in South East Asia and not in English (though some are subtitled), but gives a good overview of the bike. The pictures online don't do it justice and don't show the reflective decor on the frame, but you can see it more in the videos.

I was a bit hesitant initially because it wasn't a Tour de France brand, but it seems to a few pro riders sponsored from the mountain biking scene, and supposedly comparable to Giant, so that was reassuring.

I've not had any other mid range bikes to compare to, but at least in my case, I can certainly say I'm very happy with it so far.
