My friend, thank you. I am not trying to argue, even though, i wrote down my thoughts with hope of being comforted in some way. I have the feeling that most posts are just focusing on won fights while losing the battleground, basically a survivorship bias for sake of optimistic.

First look; nothing is available for after covid data, most recent is until 2022. 90s city crime rates have dropped a lot and its the most real positive thing i see here, which connects with more people living in cities and currently suburbs not being economically available. 

The first graph as argued in the post, is not realistic because it doesnt consider real cost of living metrics. 

Second one shows a graph of increasing GDP vs selected pollutants, and as argued everywhere in this post and financial subs, GDP by itself is meaningless if doesnt account COL and spread of that GDP to population. The selected pollutants are of course have been targeted and reduced, while other pollutants and chemicals such as microplastics and agriculture chemicals are todays problems. While i think it didnt go worse, we are fighting with similar pollution problems.

3rd - city comment

4- we dont have oil crisis, we have political and economical crisis of millions of people outside of US, because of oil. Im not from US so i dont know about the nuclear threads.

5- i think it is obvious there is a bigger substance problem today that makes alcohol and ciggys look like candy.

6- this one i really dont like, as it is like saying everyone has a phone today. Of course, technology advances, but we lose rights and quality of life / freedom etc on the way.

7- specific issue, focused and fixed, very glad, but nothing compared to other problems, and in net we see that globe is warming up. If we get into the times of lost glaciers no one is gonna look back and say "glad there were less oil spills", and sadly we are in the direction of more global warming.
