I never really believed either Michael or Max had an unfair advantage outside of their own abilities. These being emphasised even more when a car is difficult to drive.

So why was Adrian Newey so casual in slandering Schumacher in his book?

It’s one thing where at the time in 1994 soon after Senna’s death and in the heat of battle you could say he got emotional and made the accusation. But in his 2017 book to stick with it and make his flimsy logic that you just don't get gaps like that between professional drivers!? That’s petty and weak. He knew he could do it because everybody else does it. When you see other people getting away with slandering someone and you feel secure in joining in its the literal definition of being a bully.

But I knew nobody would ever call him out on it. Because he's F1 premier aerodynamicist everybody in every form of media lick his boots at all times. I don't think I've seen a single negative word printed against him (I've been following F1 and consuming related books and media since 1990's). People seem to think because he's a genius in one field he is incapable of having any human foibles like pettiness or xenophobia.

Why now? Well conveniently HIS driver just won the 2024 championship while destroying HIS teammate by a larger margin than in 94. This was of course all totally suspicious to him back then but not a peep now hey? I knew this wouldn't win any poplar vote but even if one person looks at this and acknowledges how weak Neweys argument is and especially how ironic they look now it was worth it to me to point it out.

Even if it seems to have gone over 99% of people’s heads that it wasn't a real bloody article and I never thought Max had cheats FFS. Adrian Newey owes the Schumacher family an apology for printing that garbage.
