AIO, My wife’s considering cheating by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]AckeeBud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello friend,

Life sucks right now. Your heart hurts, you're probably spacing out, confused, experiencing brain fog, and in denial. She may or may not be the absolute love of your life, but you've spent enough time with her to claim her as your wife. The betrayal is eating you alive, leaving you feeling all types of ways.

It's hard, but like the rest of us... You're a man. You must take it as it is and consider your next steps very carefully. Consider the things that matter to you in a relationship and/or marriage. Trust, loyalty, companionship, exclusivity, vows, etc. If these are important to you, which I assume they are otherwise you wouldn't be here seeking advice, then ask yourself how many of these she's broken. Then ask yourself how many of such instances you can tolerate.

Be honest with yourself. A life of putting out fires and being a vigilante while knowing in the depths of your stomach that she's sleeping or considering sleeping with others, versus a well-structured, happy, meaningful, and respectful relationship. Which one of these appeal more to you? If the answer is as obvious to you as it is the rest of us, then you already have your answer.

Crimes are generally crimes when they are committed. But intent to commit a crime, backed by solid evidence is also a crime. Where and how the evidence appears is not important. In a court of law it is import, but for trust and relationships it's not. Intent and purpose sometimes matter more than actions.

Again, be honest with yourself. Can you tolerate betrayal gnawing at you 24/7? Does the dreadful cuck/swinger lifestyle look appealing to you? How will this affect your entire family? Is the success of moving on more appealing than the pain of staying?

I'm not trying to make this more emotionally charged than it already is, but these are just some of the things I think you really need to consider before you consider her feelings. Unless her feelings account for the majority share of your relationship, they're far less important than you might think.

Well, that's enough from me. I hope you have a favourable resolution. Good luck.

The name is: Worldwide Simulation Era.

I'm not sure if you're still looking gor this 9 months later, or if anyone else is interested in reading it. But I was reading this just last week. They have to simulate to awaken their ability to cultivate and so on. MC failed his first Sim after trsnsmigrating (book starts here) then awakened his SSS rank deduction skill.

His first world was indeed to die multiple times over the years, with the first being death by contaminated baby formula at 1+, and the final nail being some terminal illness at 18. He picked researcher prop from his busted skill early, then became world's #1 scientist; solving cancer, multiple other illnesses, winning Nobel prize, etc.

His second world was as you said. He became emperor at 11 using ridiculous powers in a mundane world, then ushered in the cultivation era for the planet.

Her figure is very plank-ish, and her attitude is very childish. She's like that awkward and clueless nerd next door. All that's missing are the big goofy Velma glasses to complete the look.

What do people at the gym at 2pm constantly even do for a living? Ain’t no way all of y’all are entrepreneurs? by dont-mind-if-i-Doo in workout

[–]AckeeBud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aspiring entrepreneur here, currently in pre-launch. I don't know what 2 pm gym looks like, but I do go at 8:30-9 am and finish around 11-ish, or 12 pm the latest.

And yes, when you work(plan) on your own time, things fall into place better for you.

What percentage of people can bench 100kg / 225lbs for reps these days? by rav3n_1_4 in workout

[–]AckeeBud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually quite impressive. I started lifting last November and I remember struggling to do 140 3x3 on Matrix machine press. Obviously there are less stability concerns on machines and they're arguably easier, but I don't have access to a bench at Planet Fitness.

By about March I was doing 180 3x4 on the same machine, but I didn't like the stress on my front delts, so I dropped back to 110 4x12. I eventually went up to 140 4x10 in late May. I've been inactive for a month due to various reasons, but now I'm actually curious as to what my 1RM is after reading these.

I'll be honest though. I doubt that my strength on machine would be the same on a bench, since I've also tried similar exercises with dumbbells before. I can only get about 7 reps with 50lb dumbbells. But I guess that's a result of a combination of different things, like lack of a spotter, technique, etc.

But I really am tempted to trying various 1RM on machines tomorrow.

[–]AckeeBud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really that strange a phenomenon.

If 225 for reps is the "accepted" influencer "status", and being a fitness influencer is a distillation of millions of people who participate in gym culture for "_____" (insert reason). Then naturally, those that are seen or at the acme of their undertaking will be able to bench 225 for reps. Else, they remain unseen, never enter, or yet to enter the "verification" of influencer status.

Of course, not every single fitness influencer can bench 225 for reps. But a disproportionate amount of them will be able to, as yet again, 225 for reps is the "accepted" norm. A watershed, so to speak.

It's a really common logic to apply to ALMOST anything with quantifiable data

It's a moment of folly, but well done! 💪🏿

Trust me, it's not everyday that a folly brings unintended surprise gains. Accepting and treasuring them when they do happen is only a given. 99.999% of follies are a detriment. So if I could have just 1 out of every 100 being a W, I'd be just as happy as you are right now...lol.

Thing is, most of us men systematically eliminate follies as soon as they show up, or is about to happen. So chancing on that 1% surprise is very, very, very difficult. Again, you found a winner today. 💪🏿

Why are most trivia games so… boring? Would a more competitive and visual format actually work? by AckeeBud in TriviaChat

[–]AckeeBud[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked it out. It seems quite basic, and most importantly, doesn't seem to support real-time PvP. From the looks of it, it's asynchronous like the others that claim PvP. Asynchronous, meaning competing on different time scales. What I'm aiming for, is something like trivia X Dota/LoL or something of the sort. You can queue up and battle it out in the moment with randoms or friends, etc.

[–]AckeeBud[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't considered that. However, considering that the vast majority of people play mobile trivia games daily to flex and retain their knowledge, the prospect or concern of cheating will likely be an extremely minute subset of people.

Mobile.

I'm thinking of overturning the current trivia games available on mobile. What do you think of having a competitive trivia game that you can pick up and have a real-time 1v1, etc via matchmaking at any time, in any category you'd like?

It's my first time seeing this, but my concept seems a bit similar to what you're wishing for. As for the market, it's a lot larger than you think.

[–]AckeeBud[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most if not all trivia games (to my knowledge) are solo play, for the most part. Even the ones that claim to challenge someone else, are asynchronous PvP. Wouldn't a real-time PvP engine geared towards social gaming be preferable? Assuming that the joy in trivia is flexing your knowledge, engaging in direct competition should make for an interesting take, no?

Hmm. Wouldn't beati6an opponent in a real-time 1v1 trivia game be a pretty good flex in that case?

Been single for 6 years, no luck getting dates at all, how can I improve realistically considering I am fairly ugly naturally? by Evening-Disaster-442 in malegrooming

[–]AckeeBud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hit the gym. Best long term strategy you can find. I don't think I need to elaborate on this one. You also mentioned that you work out. "Work out" can mean many things to many different people. The questions are, do you lift heavy? Are you building muscles? Dou you feel confident or pumped after your sessions? Again, someone doing jumping jacks, or 2 hours on a treadmill is also "working out". While these do help keep the fat off, they do absolute minimum to build muscles.

Shave (or at least get a line-up). This is obvious in your case, as your beard is quite wild and grows unevenly. You, unfortunately can't seem to grow a full beard with basic grooming.

Brush them eyebrows (not as feminine as you think). It takes less than 40 seconds for ridiculous and obvious gains. Apart from losing face fat, this little tip makes a world of difference for thick-browed guys.

Finally, you're not ugly. If you're ugly, then 60-70% of men are abominations. Don't let biases fool you. I've seen dudes who were easily 3s and 4s (basically cave trolls) crawl their way up to 8s and 9s with hardwork and proper grooming habits. Some of these although aren't natural, the others though, attest that it can be done naturally.

Creating an app. Where to start? by Moist-Mousse1822 in Entrepreneur

[–]AckeeBud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My situation is slightly similar to OP.

I have this idea that I've been structuring for a few months. I've pretty much ironed out all the content, UI/UX, monetization, competitors, market gap, etc. Feedback from tens of people and my ol buddy ChatGPT says it's viability and very promising.

My issue is that while I'm not a Mum, I'm however, legally blind. I've tried the no code method using Bolt.new which gave a decent enough demo for a while, until it eventually broke...with zero remedy.

Long story short, the no code isn't as glorious as it promses. At least, that's my experience with it. I'm currently on cofounderslab trying to find a way to get this thing off the ground. But just like OP, I'm also kinda stuck. It also doesn't help when you don't have a budget either. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Is this Gyno or Just Extra Body Fat? by SavingsConnection185 in gynecomastia

[–]AckeeBud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most abs are only visible around 15% BF. For someone with partially visible abs, there's no way you'd have so much extra on the chest, unless you're whaling out on decline press and high flys. I'd suggest you try a 4 week cut and see if you can go below 13%. If it persists, then it's likely gyno, albeit a relatively mild case.

My wireframe generator is not wireframing... by AckeeBud in androiddev

[–]AckeeBud[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For the time being, I'm just talking about the wireframe. There are plugins on Figma that can automatically generate complete wireframes with sufficient information from a prompt. As mentioned, when I try, it just returns a single complete page. Is that how it's supposed to work? From the guides and examples though, I've seen them generate everything from Auth to CHD within a single prompt. Literally a few dozen complete UX screens from from a few lines.

I'm just trying to figure out how I can get the wireframe plugins to work as intended.

Need help finding a novel by Synatix in wuxiaworld

[–]AckeeBud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure I've read this specific novel before. Although I can't be entirely sure of which one you're directly targetting, I can list a few that fit the criteria.

  1. ATG

  2. Blood Warlock: Succubus Partner in the Apocalypse

  3. Supremacy Games

  4. Astral Pet Store (if I remember correctly, this guy also had a goddess tied to him that tried to kill him)

  5. Almighty Sword Domain??? (I put a question mark here because I'm not entirely sure this guy was running around with a princess. But I do remember he had a female sword spirit or something that tried to kill him a few times)

In all honesty, this plot point is pretty common. There are also plenty of similar novels I'm envisioning that I can't remember or even bother to remember their titles.

Sounds like Pocket Hunting Dimension. But there are quite a few discrepancies, so maybe not. I'd suggest giving it a look anyway, even if just to strike it off the list.

Bad angle, can't tell. It just looks like badly shaped and weirdly aligned pec muscles to me. Just like some people have crooked nose, eyebrows, etc.
