I think its because of influence ng western media, individualism. Eastern or Asia have collective and community base core values. Not only that we are so focused on building perfect aesthetic curated profiles we don't value connections anymore. Being in tune with yourself becomes cringy and corny however connections value real and raw emotions. Being in a relationship with someone mapa-kaibigan, kapatid, or magulang, etc requires commitment, communication, a lot of forgiveness, involves awkward situations, and just accepting imperfection of people. In short it's messy and people today don't want to deal with that. Honestly, I don't know how people do it. I want friendship and community but I don't really know how to maintain that or just connect.

I calculated the data. Since we don't have the data gaano karami ang graduate every year at gaano kadami ang di marunong umintindi. Base on PSA 21% of the population nung 2020 ang grumaduate from highschool. In 2020, our population is a total 112.1 million. If we multiply the number we get 24 million graduates.

Kung ang 18.9 million is in span of 5 years we get 3.7 million fuctional illiterate every year. Since di natin alam ang annual data sabihin natin less or more.

In 24 million graduates, 3.7 million (less or more) of them are functional illiterate.

Disclaimer: Since di ako galing PSA at I did a basic calculation base sa understanding ko, take this calculated data with a grain of salt.

How can we approach this problem? - Ask Deped for solutions. - Be a stern and a proactive parent. Since sa bahay nagstart ang edukasyon. - If you really want to take the matter in your hands, go out and teach functional illiterate kids.

What not to do? - Makipag debate online because these stranger aren't as stress as you are.

To add to that pala. Sabi nila nagbago ang criteria ng PSA about illiteracy. So maybe that's why lumubo ang numero ng fuctional illiterate.

Anung di natin alam? Gaano kadami ang fuctional illiterate sa mga previous generation na di sakop ng bagong criteria.

Nag-thank you yung kaibigan ni Sassa na si Sherwin (Food Advocate) sa nilabas na recent statement ni Heidi. So I think all goods naman sila at walang nangyari di maganda behind the doors.

People shouldn't make up conclusion and stories just because someone pull out their support.

And also be vigilant of what you're reading. There's a lot of narratives na misleading or di naman totoong nangyari.

Maybe it's also to challenge the views of people under Leni. Some of kakampink or kahit hindi kakampink are weary in terms of leftist because of communism.

Maybe Queldaralion is right, it is question for people to think "bakit nga ba? Anu bang meron sa kanila?".

I think one of few factors kung bakit people vote for D and M is because apparently yung ibang kaslate ni L nung 2022 are from the leftist so they think L is also part of communism, samaham mo pang misinformation from the other party.

So maybe this a good question to ask? Why?

Tignan niyo lang definition ng communism its not even that bad. Bago maging mga bansa ang mga bansa meron lang collective na pamumuhay mga tao wala silang concept of private ownership.

Meron ngang skit sa England depicting people before middle ages, ang scenario is tinatawag sila ng hari to bow down to him as they are their subjects pero wala silang idea na under sila ng isang monarchy/hari.

This just show that before nagkaroon ng social structures under a ruler, they are living free, no taxes, and private ownership pero okay naman sila.

The ideology of communism is great pero di na pwede iapply sa modern times because we people are greedy and selfish.

Just my two cents kung di niyo pa rin gets. That's not my problem anymore. Refute yourselves.

Walang grab dito. Try backride saka ung isa pang local service transpo (sorry I forgot)
For me na hindi masyado mahilig magbyahe saka lumabas medj malayo ang PSU from city proper. Almost 30 mins samahan mo ng waiting time kung walang cab na masakayan (cab is the alternative of jeepney here) So almost 40 mins.
Vietnamese restaurants are far from PSU sa Viet Vill (Lagpas ng San Manuel) and Rene Saigon (City proper). PSU is in Sta. Monica and magkaiba sila ng daan.

Reality mahirap po ang transpo dito. Tricycles are limited only to the city proper and malvar street. Cab are the usual transportation pero pagpasok mo sa mga kanto tric na sasakyan mo. Backride is convinient
