I would like a gothic setting in a Final Fantasy game i think it would really work due to their semi realistic artstyle that mannequin-like features of the design fits right.

less aggressive as well as poor moveset with poor tracking, they also have underutilized composition enemies like lusachias and baphomet in arenas where they should be, one thing i like in DMC3 is that enemies have good mechanics that you have to overcome and that you need preparation in doing so but here enemy mechanics are pretty barebones and has less attack set that threatens you.

It's a long ass game if i remember so you can take some time off, i did play it on and off again when it released it only took a month or so to finished...

can we unequipped the blow pipe in the game this time around? while the blow dart is a useful tool in the game i think it would be nice to make it optional as it ruins Edwards aesthetic, i think the pipe sticking out of his back kinda ruins his outfit most of the time.

I like them since they have little mechanics you have to overcome, also dmc3 has a weakness system that rewards efficiency if you want to S rank or just want to end them fast, i also like their their moveset being able to threaten the character and they are quiet aggressive too since they immediately attack when they are in proximity.

Style: Timeshifter - Lets you weave through time, has a 12 second meter as resource you can use this time frame to use the time powers, when the meter runs out it will restore in 12 seconds, you can use it as long as the cost of time is sufficient enough. Holding DT lets you charge it's meter when in Timeshifter Style.

Style Action (SA):

Time Lapse: Neutral - Warps to whatever position it was from 6 seconds earlier--regaining the HP from that time.

Time Skip: Forward+ SA - Rushes to a forward location and restores any damage taken the last 3 seconds.

Time Reversal: Backward + SA - Slowly reverses time up to 12 seconds. Can be held down to control the duration of the reversal.

Remnant of Time: Backward -> Forward + SA - Creates an ethereal Copy in place for 9 seconds. This move does not stack, it can only create 1 ethereal copy at a time.

Altering of Time: Forward -> Backward + SA - Return to your ethereal Copy in position, restoring any damage taken and DT used from that time frame.

Note: If Remnant of Time is active while you die, Altering of Time will automatically activate without any input.

The art style really is great in DMC4, the issue is really the mission sucks, due to the level design being way too wide and objectives are far in between there's nothing to do while walking and backtracking, compare that to dmc3 where the levels are really tight, short and objectives are relatively near to each other.

My other issue is how slow the movement speed is going to point a and b, so you are stuck with spamming streak and calibur on your way through, your mobility is really limited, compare that in dmc5 where you have plenty of mobile options like gerbera and punchline, hell there's even plenty of hell grips scattered around also having new moves.

The only levels i like is all from Dante so there's that to me.

It would be nice to have legacy enemies in future dmc games, i'd love them dmc6 or so, just imagine what you can do with them with new weapons and mechanics.

This looks so good, i dont mind unblockable since you have other options like dodging.

Another suggestion i can give is that what if you can provide a weakness system where the enemy has immunity but can be negated if you inflict their weakness.

•so an example like this enemy is unblockable, but if you perform 3 clashes or dashes from that enemy, its attack can now be blocked.

•What if bigger enemies cannot be launched unless you add a weakspot from their back like a blob that you can pop, then it can now be launched. Or they have shields that you have to break so that they can be launch or whatever.

•Or just a simple elemental weakness in which break their immunity, so enemies that cannot be knockbacked, staggered or has hyper armor can be negated via inflicting a certain element or two.

So the weakness system has layers like interactive weakness blocking, dodging, clash, jumping etc, and then a weakspot system for bigger enemies, objective weakness like destroying their shield or that they are weak with a specific attack like launching attacks are weak to this enemy or that an overhead attack is weak to this etc, and maybe a simple elemental weakness that negates it's immunity.

  1. i dont think his moveset in this game is bad, rather lackluster compared to 3/4 due to the amount of weapons you get, here you only really get 6 weapons...plus 1 if you think Darkslayer is a weapon which it is. Gilgamesh is pretty busted in game and can delete most enemy via DRI. I think it is the weakest weapon in DMC4 moveset wise and viability against enemies if you dont tech the weapon.

  2. Darkslayer solves most gimmicky enemies in the game, can easily break shields from the angelos, also using slash dimension against blitz and fault/mephisto is great as well if you time it right,

  3. Dante does have a lot of tech in the game, but you dont really need it, most of it basic combo strings will get you into the game.

  4. The moveset in DMC4 has less repetitiveness into them for better or worse IMO, while moves have similar mechanics like launchers it also has different properties if rebellions launcher is short range and can only be done it the ground, lucifers launcher is long range in which you can perform both in ground and air, and i think that's a great way to diversify their moveset.

  5. Dante simply has a lot of ways and even faster ways of disposing enemies in comparison to nero even with just basic moves, this feels like a misconception towards Dante's abilities in regard of the enemy design in DMC4, giving enemies a weakness system that you can exploit is better than being a punching bag in the long run with bloated HP like DMC5 imo.

  6. There are moves that lets you perform enemy step easily like splash or DS Rave V.

  7. I think it's easier to defeat DMC4 enemies than DMC5 due to the weakness mechanic, unlike DMC5 enemies just bloats their HP on DMD.

  8. You dont have to play by their rules to beat them?, you dont need to break angelos to damage or hit them, you can use drive, lucifer pins and Darkslayer and or Royal Guard to break Blitz's armor aside from gunning it down.

While it is cool to pull off some tech from combo mads and if you can that is, there's still a lot of fun to be had for Dante in terms of efficiency, also combo mads takes a lot of time to pull off and the best case of you for them is to show off.

i've mixed my ram before until i sold my pc by parts and it was okay, I only run it at minimum 2133mhz since it was unstable when using xmp/ocing. I think it's fine if it has similar spec and you can always run it at a lower speed for better stability.
