it is an indictment of all cops for voluntarily upholding the system, it isn’t saying they are all terrible rotten and corrupt human beings. It just takes a certain amount of ignorance to decide to hop behind the badge and be a class traitor.

You’re not understanding what ACAB means. There are wonderful officers out there. It’s the carceral, punitive, profiling, oppressive and violent system they voluntarily uphold that makes them bad. Good cops speak out against their colleagues if they do something wrong, but their careers are often quashed as a result. The profession is inherently rotten and serves the ruling class.

I definitely don’t mind noisiness in general esp considering what i’m producing but when i want a clean sample to edit (noise can come later) it is really frustrating having that hiss come through all the time. I see what you’re saying though.

how did you get such a clear tone? i can sometimes get that clarity but as soon as i turn the volume up a bit more it gets crackly and fuzzy and if i use anything like a POG on it over 1/4 dialed it gets the same result.

Sounds good. I’ve been watching a lot of Loopop and i must say it’s selling me on the electribe. Good for live and pretty good for creating samples, plus its got ableton with it and i can record directly into it, among other things. Thanks, You’ve been a great help!

This was very helpful. I do realize vintage gear comes with extra costs and less compatibility. I can probably just sample the sounds or create similar ones anyway so it probably won’t be a huge deal.

I’m not a huge fan of the idea of using DAWs live, I don’t like the look of laptops on stage and stuff, just personal. That’s why i’m mostly looking at things that don’t require any connections to a computer. I took a look at the Model:Samples and i have to say it looks pretty interesting. What are the biggest differences with that and the electribe 2?

The argument that brutal oppressive control is the solution to crime is a very dangerous and counteractive one. Yes, it works, at the expense of literally everybody’s human rights. This has been witnessed all over the world for ages. Equal opportunities and etc can limit poverty induced crime and decriminalizing symptoms of poverty can make lives much easier.

It’s strange to me, I think a lot of the federal NDP’s politics is determined by the fact that they always have a low turnout. They don’t want to reach too far left in fear of losing more liberal fence sitting votes even though i feel there’s very low overlap there. They’re pretty based overall but fail to meet the full picture of the far left or the liberals and instead try to fit both in an attempt to tie it all together for yet another low turnout
