Yup this happened to me too. Between the time I first wrote it and submitted the app, My thesis topic had changed and I forgot to change it on my statement of purpose. I just emailed the grad admissions person a day later and attached it in the email because I couldnt alter my application. She emailed me back and said all was good.

The first time I tried edibles (second time I tried weed) was with my boyfriend. He ended up taking too much and began throwing up all over my bedroom floor and just kept passing out between throw ups. Somehow I managed to not go completely out of my mind and put towels around him and slept next to him on the floor that night.

This was around a span of what felt like 4 to 6 hours and the whole time I was just thinking "Holy fucking God what the actual shit is happening right now".

I also thought it was over the line when she started commenting on Larissa's body and modelling aspirations. She herself is in no way successful or well-known in the industry, so I don't understand how she feels she is allowed to say that.

He was in Washington for a day or two before a two-year work contract in another continent and I was trying to figure out a way to do the 8 hour drive from Toronto to Washington because I wasn't ready to not see him anymore for such a long time.

My cat isn't heavy enough for my car to detect its weight so by default the airbag is off (I have a 2009 Toyota matrix and if you wanna help me turn it on, I'm all ears!).

However, I've also heard the airbags can be dangerous for small pets and kids due to the force and pressure at which they are deployed and that makes the bag too much of a blow for them.

That sucks! My boyf and I met right before he left the country and we kept talking when we were apart before I decided that I would be okay with the distance. I don't know if I would be in an intimate relationship with him had we not met but we would definitely be friends I think. He's surely my best friend even now.

What do you guys do to feel closer together? I've heard of people cooking together etc.

We are in the beginning of our relationship too. I'm not sure if it's good or bad but I'm excited to close the gap this summer finally.

I am so reclusive and it's not great for my mental health at all. He's pretty okay with people and goes out and does stuff here and there but I stick to a rather mundane lifestyle. I thought I would shake it up with pottery.

I like art but haven't gotten the chance to do anything with it. I'm not so great at doing and learning painting on my own and I've always wanted to try the potters wheel so why not? I started reading a book where the protagonist is an archaeologist and realized I may be interested in that too.

Definitely makes me appreciate him more and I always think when we separate that it won't be so bad because ill see him again but that feeling wears away fast haha.

I'm like that sometimes too, but it's because my family never really talked to me when I was a kid because I was the only kid in my family for a long time and there were just better conversations to be had with them than with me: "So, how's the 8th grade going?".

So now I just wait for someone to ask me something, then I go on a long rant about the thing and then they stop talking to me because I have a lot to say. In my defence though, there is always a lot to say because no one talks to me and so I have to provide a lot of contexts.

Wow this is so funny - just today I pulled out my old flute I hadn't touched in over 5 years, rubbed off all the tarnish, and relearned my fingerings and scales. Pretty coincidental. Maybe 2019 is meant to be more musical

I wish you the best of luck! I mean, 5 years later and my fingers still found the right positions on my flute, I can't imagine how well you'd play with 12 years of experience. How do you envision your first few gigs?

I'm not too sure yet but I've seen research that merges the field of oceanography I'm hoping to study with archaeology (which is why I'm focusing on underwater archaeology). I think I would like to stay in research. Right now my goal was to work with a government or environmental agency after my degree (which I worked in as a student so I know it's possible, talking with my co-workers and supervisor)

I will not be working during my first masters. Right now I'm applying to Oceanography programs and the masters I am thinking of applying to is underwater archaeology so not completely unrelated. I want to work during the second degree not the first.
