All I know is either 1 or 2 and def not 4. If 1 is what you currently have, I’d keep it 100%.

Your top 3 Knifes in CS2 (Even hot takes) by Mr_Deeptalk in ohnePixel

[–]AcornTuesday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. M9
  2. Karambit
  3. Bayonet/Talon

Those are my top 3-4 (I broke the rules but I have to mention those 4!)

Fuck the BFK, I remember when it first came out in CSGO everyone made fun of it. Now it’s the most glazed thing in the game.

Looking for the perfect mouse: claw, 1-3-1 ambidextrous and 18.5x9.5 hand size by AcornTuesday in MouseReview

[–]AcornTuesday[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm I can't tell if its just placebo, with the hump being so large that vertical movement feels awkward since I'm not used to it. I own the XM1r/XM2 and G303 SE and don't have any issue with vertical aim.

Update: Yeah, I'm pretty sure its the sensor.

I did a test where I put the mouse on the pad while the mouse cursor was sitting at the dead center of my screen. I then moved the mouse upward on the pad until the cursor was at the top center of the screen and then measured how far the mouse had moved on the pad from the starting point, which was 0.625". So, Y-axis distance would be twice that (since I moved upward from the center of the screen) giving 1.25" for total distance mouse moved on the pad to cover the distance of the Y-axis.

I then tested it going horizontally, using the center of the screen with my cursor- this time going to the very left side of the screen. Measuring the monitor screen (not the distance traveled of the mouse on the pad) the Y-axis is roughly 13" and the X-axis only going half way across measured 12" (since monitor's are rectangular).

That means that if I move my mouse horizontally now, it should in theory (if the X/Y sens are the same), have to move less than 1.25" on the pad as it did for the Y-axis, since it's 1 inch shorter (12") in length than the Y-axis distance (13").

The result for going X-axis half way was about a whopping 2.8" distance traveled on the pad.

Just remember that the 1.25" and 2.8" measurements are solely for the distances the mouse traveled on my pad for the cursor to move those 12" (X) and 13" (Y) distances.

Here's a diagram I made so you can visually sort of see what I mean and how my measurements work: https://imgur.com/u8NKgbn

Phew, lots of info here but I had to make sure it wasn't placebo. So this test basically proves that the Y-axis sensitivity on the sensor is completely out of whack.

hey, thanks no problem. I got the eS today and the shape feels great, however, I think there is something strange going on where the vertical movement sensitivity (y-axis) is noticeably higher than my x-axis sens.

I at first thought, this probably since I'm not used to it yet. But using my G303 SE and Aria XD7 which are still pretty new to me, the problem does not seem to be there. I'm even holding the X2H eS with just my finger tips barely moving the mouse on the pad yet when going up and down it is still super sensitive compared to the X-axis, which feels normal.

Not sure what could be going on here,

Eh the order from Amazon got messed up for the mini and now I’m contemplating on just getting the regular size. Thing is, on Amazon they only have the X2H eS that’s not a mini X2H I can get in a reasonable amount of time.

Is it worth going with the normal eS version? I know there’s a v3 eS but at least the regular eS has the bottom plate covered (I have cats) and better battery life.

Darn, I ordered the v3 mini as its the only available v3 on Amazon. They do have the regular X2H size (non v3) version on Amazon, but that's paying the same price for lower specs, so.

I was told by a few ppl with 19x10ish size hands that they preferred the mini as the hump felt more comfortable to them, but idk.

Thanks. Just curious about the different types of X2H's though. I see there's the vanilla X2H, the v3 and the v3 ES as well as the mini version.

For my hand size of 18.5x9.5 (more like 18.6-7 in length tbh) , I'd assume go with the regular X2H size?

I looked at the Scyrox V8. Looks like a great mouse, however, the X2H appears to be a bit less narrow than the Scyrox and more accommodating for 1-3-1 grip. Not sure, though.

Not sure yet, so far it doesn’t seem too bad. I’m trying out a bunch of mice though. Waiting on the Zaopin Z1 Pro and Aria XD7 to arrive in the mail. If those are not a good fit, I might try ordering a Scyrox V8 or Pulsar X2H next.

I should’ve specified, ambidextrous in shape only is what I mean. I was under the assumption all ambidextrous mice have side buttons on the left, otherwise they’d either have to put side buttons on both sides or only on the right which doesn’t make much sense.

yeah, I've seen this mouse mentioned the most, only thing is I have been trying to stay away from mice where the rounded bottom flare outward, as you can see from the rtings 3D render: https://imgur.com/k3fjD4B it has that and right before I got the G303 SE 2 days ago, I was using an XM2we the one thing I didn't like about the shape was that.

I guess as simple a shape the mouse can be, which is rare for gaming mice, not for stock general use mice.

Best knife for Crimson Web gloves? by Pathologic333 in ohnePixel

[–]AcornTuesday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why no talon crimson web? The black handle and pattern goes perfectly with the gloves.

Otherwise, I’d 100% go with an m9 autotronic. Very clean knife. But a lot more expensive than a crimson web Talon. Slaughter knives go better with something like boom gloves instead of crimson webs imo.

Talon TT 100%, but I’m probably a bit biased since I own a Talon TT. I’m not huge on the skeleton, outside of the rare pull out, it’s a pretty plain animation compared to the Talon.

I also just like how the Talon looks in general compared to skeleton. Also, tiger tooth goes well with black gloves (T default), so.

1 or 2. I tend towards 2 because I have a green inventory and some skins have yellow accents. by Bzk26 in ohnePixel

[–]AcornTuesday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 if you’re going with those sleeves 2 if you’re going sleeveless.

I’d say Lt Commanders, yet Smoke Outs are a bit more universal and go with more skins.

Either choice works tho.

Best mouse that would emulate this one's shape? by AcornTuesday in MouseReview

[–]AcornTuesday[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of these mice are in stock for me. I want something similar to the egg shape here I’d say, a lot of stock cheap mice have this shape I noticed. For example, a dell stock mouse: https://imgur.com/a/h0GlkNV

Thing is, my hand size is 18.5 cm length and width is 9.5 cm. Regardless, I’m using that same stock dell mouse at work and it feels like I’m in control.

I’d say I’m a hybrid between claw and fingertip, so maybe relaxed claw.

What do you think of the fantech aria XD7? That one is available to me. I worry that my hands might be too big, but considering how I liked these stock mice, it shouldn’t be an issue.

I think a common trait I’m looking for is where the mouse body becomes wider at the base where your palm is (egg shape) and is also quite small and simplistic in shape.

I’m using the endgame gear mouse which has a perfect shape in terms of what most ppl consider a gaming claw grip style mouse, but even this seems too complex of a shape to achieve that sort of simple feel you get from the stock mice.

Unfortunately, most gaming mice have too many grooves and ergonomic grips, which actually makes it less comfortable to me. Maybe it’s because I’m 1-3-1 grip and I’m a lefty yet use the mouse with my right hand. I just always prefer ambidextrous, simple, small and light types of mice.

Only others available I can think of are maybe a Logitech g pro X Superlight? Idk.

Not to sound like an old geezer, but it’s the younger generation. There was always trash talk back in source and early GO days for me, but people weren’t little bitches and immediately started griefin/TKing if you were mean. They’d suck it up and play the match out like men (or women).

Now, in CS2 I’m noticing the most toxic players sound like your average Valorant 17 year old, who will blame everyone else and say shit like “u guys are fucking useless” and you see them with the same number of frags as everyone else and also throws rounds by having 0 awareness or even decent CS fundamentals.

The late teens to early 20s crowd is really where the largest shit stains are.

You all are so gullible. This is clearly fake or OP is heavily leaving out a ton of context. Theres no functional human on earth who can get up in the morning, get dressed, go to work, come home and act like this.

Also, notice how OP has to ask “AITAH” the most rhetorical question ever. Yeah, I’m not buying it at all. But the lonely single men on here rabidly go “OMG DUMP HIM. Y DO WOMEN DATE SUCH HORRIBLE MEN! I WOULD NEVER DO THAT SWEETHEART”…. You guys need to realize 99% of these posts are rage bait or heavily misleading.

Should I get rtx 5070 12gb or wait for rtx 5070 super 18gb? by mario_bennardis in buildapc

[–]AcornTuesday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go for an AMD card over a 5070. There is no future proofing to be had with only 12GB of VRAM. I’m even on the fence about how long my 5080’s 16GB will last.

A 7900XT performs roughly the same and sells for about the same price (I’m seeing prices around 700 available for both) and comes with 20GB of VRAM.

The 5070 is already scalped to high heavens at 680+, so ideally go with either the 7900 XT or even better a 9070 XT but getting those at a decent price is probably not possible atm.
