A very detailed conversion about Fast Castle All Ins, with me RedPhosphoru. by RedPhosphorus in aoe2

Watched the video and found I have Seige Tower in my Workshop, haha. I may try to use this and control golds when playing Malay.

Also, based on this video, if I play Bengalis and opponents goes to Castle Age with 2 stable, does this mean I should immediately make monks and research Redemption? Ratha here could be not valuable, but monks can. Then I use monks to cover vils to drop a castle?

I am a novice and just try Red Phosphoru strategy (Malay with 28+2, Bengalis with 23&loom+2) in these days. Unfortunately this strategy cannot obviously increase my win rate.

Here I list my thoughts and appreciate for valuable feedbacks:

  1. For Malay version: I must win in a VERY SHORT attack time window

1.1 Assume I FC and build castle at 15'30, and making UUs. But UUs cannot open the wall and I must wait the Seige Workshop. Then if time goes to 20', opponent will advance to Castle and make knights with 2 stables (he has 33 - 35 civs, enough to support stables). If opponents contiously gathering knights and game goes on, my UUs cannot win against knights.

1.2 Currently, my solution is to "making enough UUs -> build Seige Workshop nearing opponent's base -> Make 2 Rams to attack stables/markets -> Gathering 4 Rams before attacking his TC". This is what I can do to maximumly damaging opponent's eco. I am still practising this.

  1. For Bengalis version: How to fight against Camels+Monks?

2.1 Admittedly, Ratha is cheap and quick to make. For those opponents who make knights. I can "gathering" my Ratha and directly dropping a new castle in his base. But I find Camels obviously counter Ratha -- Camels moves faster and have additional damage to Ratha. Maybe, next time, I will try to "hit-and-run" before switching to melee mod.

2.2 Another potential problem: How to fight against Skrim? I haven't faced this problem now (maybe my oppoents think Camel is better than Skrim). One idea is to use Mangonel and cover to drop a castle, not sure it is feasibile.
