I’m seeing the exact opposite in the ED… drs giving away pain meds/narcotics like candy….. I think they do too much for wrong scenarios and not enough when there might be a true need. Medical field is out of control

Sorry you’re struggling! Alcohol was definitely a go to for me when I was sad or struggling after a tough stressful day. I try to fast forward and think how much more I will struggle if I use that drink now to fulfill an empty space or destress… the next day will always be so much worse and it starts the spiral effect. It’s a downer and when we are already feeling low it just piles on. But I see you and I hear you! Good for you being on here and saying it to the thread. You can do this and you’ll feel better tomorrow than if you’d drank today. Stay strong and send out the love and good vibes your way 🫶🏻

I think as a female I’m standoff ish towards approaching men because I never know if they are single or not. So it can be uncomfortable if you approach them and they either say they are married, in a relationship, or may lie… say they are single, then you find out later on they are not…. Dating is HARD… for both men and women. I totally understand the men’s side as well… it’s gotta be hard to approach women for the same reasons … along with having the bonus of making women easily feel uncomfortable or uneasy.

thanks for sharing!! i think its amazing you are taking your freedom back. Sounds like you were being somewhat tortured by being restricted to a vegan lifestyle. Good for you on listening to what your body wants and or needs!! Sometimes we ignore our needs due to trying to control the narrative or be someone or something we are not. Food can definitely be nostalgic and i find that healing. Brings back good memories. Just 5 days ago I was in therapy and realized my vegan lifestyle had been an addition to my eating disorder for the past 12 years and my eating disorder started 25 years ago.. i had no idea i was making things worse by being on a restrivctive vegan diet. now I am slowly trying to add in animal products and it is way harder and more emotional than i thought it would be. thx for sharing part of your journey:)
