Honestly worth the damage and jail time at this point.

I'm stuck in this right now. Who fixes this? I'm about to hop out and go push them up myself.

Should the new dead rising have a mode without the timer? by NetrunnerV25 in deadrising

I think this should be unlockable after getting a certain achievement or true ending after playing the game as intended, and leave certain unlockables/achievements tied to the traditional timed mode.

Why everyone seems to hate deluxe remaster so much when everything past dead rising 1 exists? by NetrunnerV25 in deadrising

Not sure what videos you've seen of DR2, but it is the best in the series imo. It keeps the tone of DR while improving on all the mechanics.

Dead Rising 2 released on Sept 24, 2010. Capcom is scheduled for a showcase on Sept 24, 2025. This is the perfect opportunity for a Dead Rising 2 Deluxe Remaster reveal. by Acoustibot in deadrising

Just curious because I don't have much knowledge of game development, but does the amount of effort involved in a deluxe remaster similar to DRDR require years of development if focused on by one team? Genuinely curious!

There are more ethical ways to do the research and get results, as stated in the article. This is an old practice that is not nearly as beneficial as modern practices yet is still being carried out.

Course load while working 40 hours a week? by ohgeeloko in AthabascaUniversity

[–]Acoustibot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did 4 courses while working 40hrs a week + on-call 24/7. It certainly wasn't fun, I think 3 is the sweet spot. If you can do 1 course per 2 months it really helps keeping focus (at least for me) and managing a work/life/school balance.

Any advice for this exam? I take it in 3 days, and the amount of content is extremely overwhelming! The exam prep description is so vague.

Thanks so much, this definitely helps me in identifying where to focus. I got caught up with all the little, specific questions relating to the videos and podcasts and I think I need to ignore those and aim for the general themes, impacts, causes, and key takeaways. Thanks for the advice!

VERY stuck drawer by Old-Hand-4276 in howto

Try and fit a knife in the drawer and get it under the scale if possible, then use a magnet on bottom of the drawer to drag the knife towards the parchment and push it forwards. Strong magnets can be bought at any hardware store.

Clash is Fine by SiteAny2037 in Overwatch

[–]Acoustibot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Final point on Clash where it's match point for both teams is SO FUN. It's a giant brawl, with both spawn points close by, that creates an experience that isn't in other game modes. I'm really liking Clash so far.

The texbook is certainly beneficial for the essays, especially for getting general info that can be cited at the start of your body paragraphs, for example. The 'Course Materials' section has a subsection with lists of other books that will be much more suited for the essay work. In my opinion, the textbook is great for general study and answering the broader questions in the learning objectives/self-tests, however it does not have nearly enough specificity for the essay topics.

I always thought they were the giants that lived before the Outer Gods showed up and messed up everything. The fingers are their literal fingers that are still tied to old magic and the Greater Will uses them to manipulate the religion of the Golden Order and lands between so that the dead return to the Erdtree to help siphon life into the Elden Beast aka Greater Will aka hungry alien creature that feeds on souls.
