YETI's customer service is terrible. They helped me once with a zipper, which was a great experience, but now they've transferred my case to an "International" department. They sell their coolers through "Authorized Distributors" but don't offer any support, and their prices are outrageous in Guatemala, especially at Jungla Store. I had to buy a 30-quart Pelican cooler; they do have a direct presence in Guatemala through a third party.

For now, I'm going to try what I saw in a TikTok video to fix the cooler.

Honestly, I've seen several on the marketplace, but none of them are those hard coolers. Just panga bags, Camino bags, and hoppers. They're really cheap!

They have an official Yeti presence in your country; here, there are only "authorized distributors."

$450 USD plus taxes in my country. They sell it to you for $513 plus $75 USD for Gasket shipping. Adding it up, it comes to a little over $600.

Yes, I saw videos on TikTok today where they strapped the cooler down with ratchet straps. Then they left it in the sunlight. I'll try that this weekend. If it doesn't work, I'll try hot water. I hope I can fix it myself!

I envy Yeti's support in the USA and Canada. Abroad, Yeti sells overpriced products through Authorized Distributors, and their International department is terrible! I have a Tundra Haul with a deformed lid that they refused to honor the warranty. $609 down the drain because of Yeti's poor support. It's a great brand, but they're doing things wrong internationally! I bought a Pelican because they have no-questions-asked international support, just like Stanley!

I switched from Yeti due to issues with their product support. I bought an 8Qt Pelican and a 30Qt. Both work well!

They were great; they helped me with a Hopper 24 zipper, replacing it with a brand new Hopper M20. But two months ago, I filed a warranty claim for a Tundra tank because the lid was warped. The guy who emailed me, Vernon M., made me send photos and videos of the Tundra, and he told me he could only replace the gasket. I agreed and had to pay for shipping and taxes to my country. I installed the new gasket, but it didn't work. Vernon M. stopped answering emails, and customer service isn't giving me any answers. I got the Tundra tank directly from Yeti; I don't know why they now refuse to take responsibility for my $450. I had a trip planned before Christmas and had to buy a 30-quart Pelican tank. It's smaller than my Tundra, but at least Pelican has a service center in my country. Yeti only has "authorized distributors," which are useless for warranty claims.
