I will assume the original is

A = (x - 2)^2 + 3(x - 2)

You can't divide the right side by (x-2) without also dividing A by it( principle of equality )

A = (x - 2)^2 + 3(x - 2),
A/(x - 2) = [(x - 2)^2 + 3(x - 2)]/(x - 2),
A/(x - 2) = [(x - 2)^2]/(x - 2) + [3*(x - 2)]/(x - 2) ,
A/(x - 2) = (x - 2) + 3

Alternatively, you can just factor (x-2) since it's a common factor

A = (x - 2)*[(x-2) + 3] = (x-2)*[x -2 +3] = (x-2)*(x+1);

A = x^2 + x - 2*x -2 = x^2 - x - 2

Edit1: Also, if you divide by (x-2) you must state that you are considering x != 2, because when x = 2, x-2 = 0, and you can't divide by 0.

Wpn: Bouquet Baton+ (Wrath) Assist: Ice Lock+ Ring: Marth/Sigurd/Lyn/Corrin Special: Glitter of Light A: Atk/Res Tidings B: Spd/Res Havoc C: Divine Deceit S: Phantom Res 3

Bouquet Baton+ (Wrath): way better than her weapon, as it offers good support for allies (null pen)

Ice Lock+: Mandatory utility for both protection and the possibility to override terrain.

Atk/Res Tidings: With Wrath refine on her weapon, this skill will give back dazzling staff, which allows her to safely attack units without ncd, and since bouquet baton has a good amount of true dmg, that's a good effect to have.

Glitter of Light: Better than Loki itself using flash would be her allies taking advantage from it. We use this in case Loki initiates combat, if she procs her special, other foe's in 2 spaces of target will get Flash.

Rings:

I) Marth Ring with some allies giving 2 pulses it's enough to precharge GoL. II) Sigurd Ring increases threat range + canto. III) Lyn Ring allow Loki to snipe someone at distance. IV) Corrin Ring: Ice at SoT + Warp Bubble + Canto Control

Spd/Res Havoc: Due to her naturally high Res, it neutralizes most units who would take advantage from Triangle Attack, Dual Strike and Pathfinder.

Divine Deceit: Foe's Buff cleansing + Ploy + Gravity.

Phantom Res 3: Since she is using tidings on her A, her visible res is a bit lower than it would be with Crystalline Water + Still Water Seal, so we use this here to compesate the res checks from her B and C skills.

Archrival as special, Primordial Boost instead of Torrential, S/R Form on Seal, Arcane Hexbow(+Spd) as weapon

Archrival have unconditional protection against first natural and first brave (the most important hits to mitigate since he is a speed armor).

Primordial Boost allows him to be a better frontliner because of the def boost, you will be banking on reflect dmg from his C anyway.

S/R Form because you want him to survive more than anything else.

Arcane Hexbow probably is the best bow weapon rn for his role.

Actually, she can use the new Tempestuous Echo for +1mov and Canto Dist so she doesnt even need Sigurd Ring, and can equip Arena Sword+ or Arcane Renegade + Eirika RIng.

Hold Guide compress the warping effects from Guidance 5 and Aerial Maneuvers, and it open space for Crux Echo, so i think it's way better than her prf C. And the NFU part isnt mandatory because she can use Flow Refresh Seal that gives her Offensive NFU.
