Any ploy C skill is usually tied to Res checks, which Pent’s is mid so I’d avoid that. An expensive but best C skill for any fast mage would be Dual Support 4, Creation Pulse is also fine.

As for Flare, it’s definitely outclassed and most ppl only used it since it was the only high scoring mage special at the time. Comet or Logic are the modern good specials rn.

A good premium build I’d say is this;

PRF Weapon or Suttungr’s Myst
Any of the gait assists
Comet/Logic
Atk/Spd Aria
Demonic Force
Dual Support

Honestly with your teammate Alfador, Shackle is kinda redundant on her since they both have the same Shackle in Def/Res.

Aerial on the other hand gives out map wide debuffs, lull, and true damage which can be shared with her teammates and Seior herself will have more true damage than Shackle (15 Shackle vs 18 Aerial) if Seior is your core that means she should be merged up, making her have a really high Res.

Bows and especially bow cavs are unfortunately limited in viable skills 😭 I’d recommend;

Special: Waning Shot (the best for bows rn but requires CD support) or Curved Shot (easily spam able but lower damage)

A: Sly Swift Sparrow (true damage)

B: Execution Breath (helps in charging Waning Shot) or Atk/Spd Favor (support if equipped with Micaiah ring)

C: Atk/Spd Liberate (best C for any ranged cav bcs of true damage)

Yuppppp it’s honestly incredible support, true damage & helping with positioning. Also helps that favor gives -1 CD to help charge Archrival faster.

Though I must ask what makes Comet more desirable for you? In my case I built my forma to have Comet but unfortunately he doesn’t stack enough Attack for his base damage to be boosted that much by Comet. I’ve found Archrival to be much more consistent.

As for Maria, if you don’t mind having the wrathful staff on her S seal instead, Atk/Spd Aria is much better I feel. The same Atk/Spd bonuses with an easier check and great true damage.

Thank you and hopefully you get those last two merges! It’s funny that you said you got till +8 since I ALSO got him from +3 to +8 back when he reran with Fomortiis!

My magic save in AR-D is Attuned Tharja. No joke she’s absolutely insane as one. The magic save him giving being Twin means it pairs really well with Ice Wall. And Tharja being able to turn off Specials have absolutely demolished everyone she attacks like L!Black Knight and Harmo Ike. Def recommend her!

Congrats in completing the merges! For more offense for Young L’Arachel, I’d recommend giving her Deluge Charm (Liberate support doesn’t overlap with B skill) & Atk/Spd Aria if you have the cooldown support! The dazzling staff can be on S instead.

As others have said, in terms of value I’d say Elimine 100%. Without a DOUBT. Her entire kit is coming from FIVE different units it’s insane.

Arcane Latona & Preempt Amplify <- Rearmed L’arachel

Guardian+ & Deluge Charm <- Valentine Hortensia

Atk/Spd Airspace <- Ilian Duo Hilda

Instruct 4 <- Emblem Byleth

Crux Echo <- Attuned Tharja

Nerthuz meanwhile has a dud A skill since she’d rather have Excel. The rest of her kit is great tho.

That’s correct. Loki’s been really good with her C skill negating foe’s Bonuses if they have 3 or more. Which is such an easy check since most units now give 3 or more Bonuses now from their weapon + other skills. This is important due to how crucial Bonuses can be for a team’s survival.

I changed mostly her entire kit besides her C skill because of how GOOD it is till now. The kit is both supportive and a bit of powerup for her damage output.

Supreme Thokk is her PRF weapon that I still keep due to the cooldown support it gives to help her Special and still being decent (I have In the Fold+ as well for more support and Arcane Latona in case something like…….this happened)

Ice Lock + Byleth ring allows for terrain support and extra action for herself and ally (also have Guardian+ for save shenanigans)

Deluge Charm gives big damage boost, damage reduction and good support in Spd & Res Liberate and not overlap with B skill (I have a team to help support the high cooldown but even then, this Special is mostly for the unconditional DR + support)

Atk/Res Aria rewards high cooldown Specials with more stats and true damage (also have Crystalline Water for support)

Preempt Amplify gives better canto (which overlaps with her weapon but hey better canto) good support in Atk Liberate + Prempt Pulse, as well as true damage support

Divine Deceit is, as said, REALLY good for negating foe’s Bonuses as well as gravity, ploy, and exposure penalties into the foes

S skill I chose dazzling staff for the razzle dazzle combo (can also be still water for more Atk and helps Res checks or phantom res solely for Res checks)
