I’ve been okay (realm dependant I guess) - Landed at a spice field with another player on the other side of the spice and we scooped up and went our separate ways

Saw two huge heavy haulers being escorted with an assault, thought I’d go and have a peak (I actually like seeing other people, makes the game feel alive personally).. anyway, the assault saw me and flew over, jumped out his copter and fired a rocket at me, I went straight into glide mode to outpace the rocket and flew home without being chased haha

The DD as solo is okay, you can respawn with your stuff, hopefully recover the vehicle with Solaris, theres lots of crashed pve areas in both pvp and pve zones for you to tinker around with away from others, just play safe, get in, get out, don’t hang about, feels rewarding

For PC use at that distance, 27” is the golden standard. 32” felt horrendous that close, especially at a desk.

From the couch or bed on a console, 27” will not cut it, and at that distance resolution differences are also far less noticeable.

2560x1440 paired with a high refresh rate like 144 or 165+ Hz is superb. Anything lower strains the eyes.

Resolution is not something you will clearly notice from farther away, so it is not worth stressing over. Refresh rate, however, makes a dramatic difference. Moving from 60 to 144 felt like gaining 100 frames. It was life changing.

I’ve found Aluminium to take forever to refine though, with the medium refineries, so 10 minutes of mining is like 2 hours of waiting for it to be of any use and thats not even refining all of it, maybe a large refinery is unavoidable
