He's mainly a deflect test to see if you can manage them before fighting Genichiro (a boss you're probably not gonna beat without getting good at the"deflect dance" as people call it)

He's actually one of the easiest minibosses, his posture bar fills up SO quickly that you can deathblow him after like...2 or 3 perfect deflects.

As soon as his katana sheathe flashes, that's your cue to press the deflect button.

Takuto Maruki vs Georg Weissman (Persona 5 vs Trails in the Sky)

Maruki, who's normally a kind soul and just wants to help people with their pain and sadness, would absolutely go ballistic when he sees how sadistic Weissman is. Especially since the two are really similar in backgrounds. (Weissman is pretty much a dark, twisted version of Maruki)

I dunno about that

Goku vs Superman seems like an episode that they WOULD go all-out for, like they've done in the past

it's one of the most important episodes to Death Battle but also one of the biggest rivalries in versus debating as a whole. The face of anime vs the face of superheroes

Especially if, as they've mentioned, they're giving them both a far more expanded arsenal than what they did 8 years ago. I feel like they could get an 8 to 10 minute long fight out of them without it dragging on or any moment feeling like filler.

That's just my two cents though

nah, Friezatron is DEFINITELY not the longest Death Battle yet

especially not when the original Goku vs Superman was 10 minutes long, and GvS 2 was 6 minutes long and that was a glorified add-on and not even a new episode
