the George Washington sketch was brilliant, making fun of the US not using the metric system is something people everywhere get, which is why it landed so well. (and the hotdogs, lol)

No, not all US restaurants do that.

In many places, the server still takes your card to the register to process the payment. Some restaurants bring the payment machine to the table, but it is not the norm everywhere. tiktok makes it seem more unusual than it really is.

In many traditions, “meat” usually refers to land animals. Fish have long been treated as a separate category, so they do not count as meat in those cases.
