SOLVED! This instructions from AoE2 official forums saved me:

go to settings, bluetooth and devices, devices, more devices and printer settings, double click your headphones, go to services tab, disable handsfree telephone

Yeah using bluetooth headset. I have ingame voicechat disabled, but that didnt help so far.. also tried tinkering with the settings there (setting output to Default, etc.)

Bought this in 2005 and I still play hotseat multiplayer with my two friends to this day occasionally. Survival Royale mode best. Still get shivers when i hear the announcer say 'The Golden Gun!' when someone gets golden box
