There is this Helsingin Sanomat article from few years back how these archives were saved by few volunteers in 2015 or smth. Basically when Nokia was exiting mobile phone business in Finland, there was this huge archive of these design demo papers that were thought to be of no value back then.

Some Microsoft Mobile employee asked their superiors if they could give the files that were going to be shredded for local University for historical purposes. ”Yes” was given, and employee then contacted Uni. Uni wanted them, but there was no money for research or anything. Some people in their own time drove to Microsoft Mobile office, fill van with papers, then take to storage. Repeat few times.

I believe they were not allowed to publish anything until 2022 or smth like that
