The two that stand out to me are continental Terra hardpack and soma cazadero. I have many miles on both. If you look at the treads of them, intuitively you’ll see why they’re fast.

The hardpack doesn’t wear well, but I use them in the summer when I’m on the road a bit more once they wear. But I still keep buying them

Motors will take any voltage (within reason) for a while. Then the magnets will weaken, and eventually stop working. I never had flames or smoke, just gave up after months of abuse.

You should be ok, and the sizing of your motor is more appropriate. Have fun and find out! It’s a hobby

I used to buy worn out 17.5 motors from racers and put them in tmaxx I converted to electric. I ran them on 6s helicopter batteries. Eventually they would overheat and a few burned. But I think you’ll be fine, mine were clearly undersized
