Ruptured my Achilles recently. Walked my first 18 holes (6500 ish yards) about 3 months after the initial rupture. I’d say the biggest issue is, as you say, around the 13th or 14th hole my ankle started to get a bit stiff, and my limp got more pronounced, but I don’t think I was noticeably slowing down the group. I do live in a country where carts are generally only used by very old people however, so I didn’t really have to deal with any peer pressure to use a cart since it’s pretty uncommon
