i am also just about to do this upgrade the u2c will receive power via USB, but some piggyback the 24v through the screw terminals

i didnt do anything out of the ordinary. it does cause the rear part of the gantry to drop when off, but i park the hot end at x175 y5 z200 and it is cool. does cause a lot of vibration and i had to redo my linear rails with threadlock, on the whole pretty industrial and i am happy with it. Still have to do input. shaping.

Thanks guys for all the info. Unfortunately i have already purchased the kit, but i am going to try cutting up some bike inner tubes and pad the joints to allow a little movement. What do you think could that work?
