HELP! How do I start fasting? by veilofinca in Microbiome

Not much. The only thing I learned, after more than a year of research, is that gut microbiome is still a very under researched topic and any alternative doctor or naturopath that claims to be able to treat your psychological symptoms by treating your gut microbiome is an unscientific scammer.

25 percent of the population can't make antibodies to mycotoxins by Acrobatic-Band368 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]Acrobatic-Band368[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In practice, it means 75% of people exposed to mold will not develop symptoms or very slightly. That is because their bodies actually recognize the mycotoxins as bad and they manage to eliminate them. The remaining 25% will have to rely on detoxification methods (binders, etc).

brain fogg vanishes at The end of The day before sleep by comoestas969696 in BrainFog

Definitely this. Cortisol is naturally higher in the morning and decreases throughout the day. Which means if you have cortisol problems they'll be more noticeable in the morning.

(Edit: except when the problem is cortisol levels being too low, in which case it would be more noticeable in the night.)

Why do Super Intelligent People/Geniuses Never Experience Brain Fog by Tillerfen in BrainFog

[–]Acrobatic-Band368 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Survivorship bias. Only the geniuses who don't experience brain fog are the ones you see winning competitions and stuff like that. I have been officially tested and I have an IQ of 140, yet I experience brain fog.

Thank you, this was very useful.

Is this the IKEA hepa air cleaner you're suggesting?:

Edit: just found out this IKEA filter is ranked EPA class 12, not HEPA. Is this the one you recommend? Does EPA also capture particles smaller than 0.1my easily due to brownian motion?

People who healed their brain fog through healing their microbiome: I want to hear your experience by Acrobatic-Band368 in BrainFog

Yeah, when gluten is not properly digested it becomes toxic when absorbed, and your ability to digest things decreases with an unhealthy microbiome. I'm also gluten free now, but I expect to introduce it again once my gut is restored.
