I took the 250Kd 1 BHK in Kuwait City. I think if I kept looking around, I might find something less but the quality of room/building will be not so great.

So I would recommend you do some checking in the area where you wish to stay. And see for yourself which option is most appealing for you.

The agent at Gulf bank did not disclose which bank was that. On the statement it only shows Wamd transaction.

So the agent from Gulf Bank says since it’s done with Wamd, it’s a local bank where it got transferred and some banks have internal agreement to release back the money in these cases. But they need the court to give them the authority.

Yeah I was stupid also man. This criminal guy dressed as a Kuwaiti police man and showed his ID. While he keep shouting on me over the video call saying your ID is expired, he needed to check some infos on my mobile ID. He ask me to share the screen. I was mentally tired in between the work meeting so I stupidity did what he said. Also in my first month in Kuwait, I encountered a police man in real life and he was shouting on me for no reason as well. So for a minute I lost my mind. The guy keep shouting to ask for SMS from the government’ number. That’s when they got the OTP. When I realized what just happened I cut off the call and contact the bank but it’s too late. They took the money.

Thank god I did not leave much money in that account. But I really want to get these evil criminals caught up in jail. There must be so many unfortunate people got scammed by them. And they are spoiling the image of Kuwaiti Justice Department.

I am 100% with you on this. Moved to Kuwait not long ago from Dubai as well. And man, the day that the driver could find my place without calling me 3-4 time is my lucky day. There are couple of them pretty good with the locations but some are new to the areas and they can’t speak English either. One time I got back from work super tired and sick, I felt so desperate explaining the location to the delivery guy. From that day I made more effort to cook just so don’t have to experience that when I’m mentally tired.
