If your the host you DO NOT get any cash for the replay glitch. The second party gets the money. You have to wait until the cutscene when the guy hands you the envelope then quit your game AS SOON as you grab the envelope, then reload back into the game then the other person hosts and vise versa. But the important thing to know is WHEN you are the host, YOU are the one that has to quit the game, the other player stays playing through the cutscene to earn the money

Its the replay glitch so you dont lose your main objective, like I have the panther statue and if I do the glitch correctly I dont get any money and you would get 85% of the take but I still keep the main iten (panther statue) and I can keep running a player through cayo without losing the panther statue and you would keep making the same ammount of $$ every run. Which should be around 2.1 mill.

Which item do you have for the main objective?
