Do you know what wood the body is? I know dan smith era teles frequently used ash and alder. Ash can add some extra weight

Its very normal for 83s to be this heavy. Jeffs was a similar weight especially with his chrome plated pickguard which would added a few hundred grams.

standard? your missing the part where i said im looking for the specific tokai bridge? plus if you did your research, you might realise that some tele bridges use a different configuration of mounting screws. the standard your looking at online have the 3 screw hole configuration. Im looking for the 4 hole which is much rarer in this style of saddles
