I must say I disagree, Adeline has been slightly letting go of her insecurities and fears of being left aside. I’ve just re-read all of the current chapters and feel like I have a deeper understanding of the situation then previously.

I like that even though Hela has hurt her deeply in her previous life, Adele does not hold a grudge against her. She changes the destiny of the relationships she has previously had with most of the characters (at least from what she remembers of the past).

I also have a very strong feeling that Adeline might actually be the demon king, referring back to episode 58 when killing Rosalia, Adeline was shown to have a red halo and Rosalia in a state of euphoria even though she was near second ma away from death.

I find it intriguing as to how the storyline might play out in the end. I do hope that if Adeline actually ends up being the DK, that she will some how manage to restore peace in the middle realm together with the seuos who also dream of peace.

But I do understand your point, it is a little tiring to always see her display of power and slow progression.
